Congratulations to all involved - Music Matters, St John of God Community Choir & Musical Memories choir - be very proud of yourselves! Thank you to William Byrne, our guest musician, and to the St John of God Carmona Services for hosting us. We are also grateful to David Frain for photographing this wonderful occasion!

“That’s a Rap” – with Temper-Mental MissElayneous "That's a Rap" was a 5 week rap and performance project for people with intellectual disabilities. Developed by Axis Ballymun in association with Music Matters, this exciting new youth arts project gave young people with intellectual disabilities (15 - 27 years) the opportunity to dive into the world of Hip Hop and rap by working with the well-known hip-hop artist and poet, Temper-Mental MissElayneous. “That’s a Rap” was generously funded by the Communications Workers Union

Some of the young rappers took part in the LiFT Youth Arts Festival Gala Showcase on Wednesday 25th March, including Cian “Crazy C” O’Connor, who is pictured here with Temper-Mental MissElayneous There is also a short promotional video, recorded & edited by Jonathan Ho, Youth Artist in Residence at Axis Ballymun – available here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PUpTZ8Q9jQ0
