•   The pool contains 1.5 million gallons of water that can be transformed into a dry stage in a manner of seconds. 

•   “O” features the largest contingent of Olympic Athletes of any of the Cirque du Soleil productions, with nine of our performer’s having participated in one or more Olympic Games before joining the show.

•   The music of “O” is played live every night. The musicians need to be in a climate controlled environment, as many of their instruments are quite valuable and react easily to changes in temperature or humidity.

•   The Female Bungee Costume in Mystère has over 2,500 sequins applied by hand.  The application takes over 20 hours for  one costume.

•   Mystère Guitarist Bruce Rickerd has  performed in more than 10,000 shows  in the show’s 22 year history, earning him  a Guinness World Record.

•   More than 110 bounces on the trampoline and  more than 65 teeterboard jumps are performed during one show.

•   There are more than 1,500 pairs of shoes  in the wardrobe.

•   We have 99 wigs & hairpieces.

•   Male and female artists wear high heels in the show, sizes range from 4 1/2 to 13.

•   The tallest pair of high heels in the show is 7”.

•   The water in the Water Bowl consistently stays at a temperature of 99 degrees. This helps the water bowl contortionists’ muscles to remain warm and flexible during the act.

•   Criss has been awarded more magic awards than ANY magician including: – Magician of the Century – Innovator of the Decade – Magician of the year (6-times) – Living Legend Award – Youngest Magician inducted  into the Hall of Fame – Star on the Hollywood  Walk of Fame

•   The show features Criss’ signature levitation, sixteen years in the making, which can be seen nowhere else.

•   LOVE’s custom-built theatre features  360 degree seating.

•   Twist & Shout is choreographed by Emmy Award winning choreographers Nappy Tabs, best known for their work on “So You Think  You Can Dance”.

•   The stage at KÀ rotates 360 degrees.

•   Each night, two tons of granular cork (one ton  per show) simulates sand in the Wash-up scene.

•   During pre-show 120 fireballs are discharged measuring 30 ft. in height and reaching temperatures of 1200 degrees Fahrenheit.

•   More than 110 live arrows are shot through  the air at each performance. The artists  spend many hours in training to learn proper archery techniques.

•   The boat in the Storm scene weighs 1,800 pounds and is completely manipulated  onstage by the artists.

•   Each of the theatre’s 1,804 seats has three speakers—left, right and center—for a total  of 5,412 seat speakers.

•   The Michael Jackson ONE Muse character’s guitar shoots 30-foot streams of pyro.

•   Michael Jackson was fond of Swarovski crystals, and the use of this material in the show was self-evident. The “Dirty Diana” costume contains over 7,000 Swarovski crystals.

•   The show utilizes three stage lifts that travel 20 feet from basement to stage at a maximum speed of 1 foot per second.

•   In addition to the 28 strobe lights and  587 lighting fixtures in the show, there are  295 custom LED fixtures built into the show’s various set pieces.
