This library of Postal information contains over 3000 downloadable documents, pre-written templates, PowerPoint training aids, manuals and videos that cover all functional areas that a Postmaster will encounter in their daily duties.

History of Knowledge BaseThe Knowledge Base was created from John Galera’s Postmaster Survival Disk

The library was compiled from the Postal Service bluepage and contributions from Postmasters around the country

Obtain approval from your MPOO or District Manager before accessing or loading the files on your USPS computer

Registration Process

Fist time user will need to register with Last Name and NAPUS member number (located on front of Postmaster Gazette)

When prompted you will enter the required information to finish your registration, once registered you will log on with your email and password.Once registered you will be able to download any of the files in the Knowledge Base

Accessing FilesAcross the top banner, you can access:

Search Option The “Search” box will allow the user to enter a subject or area of inquiry to save time

The user can choose to review the listed documents

The categories are listed in alphabetical order

PEG DocumentsPEG Documents has Written Programs and Safety Programs To update to your office:

Go to Written Programs Hit Ctrl F to bring up the Find Block Hit the tab called Replace

You can replace (Pearl City) with your City (23 Changes)Your Name for (John Galera) Current Date with (3/1/2012)

This will update your whole program in minutes. This can be done with any Microsoft office document.

Video FolderThis contains short videos that are great for Icebreakers, for training or anytime you just need a break and a good laugh.

Updated FilesAny updated files will be listed on the bottom of the Knowledge Base

All updated files within a certain time period will be displayed, clicking on these items you will be able to update your files by clicking and saving to your computer

Do not change the document name and it will overwrite the document on your computer if previously downloaded or saved from the Postmaster Survival Disk
