Shortwave could trigger strong to severe thunderstorms Wednesday afternoon, especially east of the Blue Ridge. Main threat would be gusty-strong winds and heavy rainfall. Please stay tuned.

weekend, resulting in a chance for showers and thunderstorms each day and above normal temps.
• Sat: Highs: Lower-Upper 80s (isolated 90s possible near DC). Lows: Mid 60s-Lower 70s.
