Vigilance Awareness week was observed in the school by conducting various

activities for the students as per the CBSE guidelines :

Classes VI –VIII – Poster making on ' Public participation in eradicating

corruption'

Classes IX & X – Street Play 'Promoting integrity ensures the prosperity of

nation'

Classes XI & XII – Essay writing ' e-governance as an effective tool to curb

corruption'

12 Nov 2016

One day workshop by COEFT Kakinada was conducted for the Secondary &

Sr.Secondary teachers of NSB, 104 & other school representatives on the

topic 'Gender Sensitivity'. Mr.Umamaheswar Rao, Principal DAV School &

Mrs.Vandana Abraham,Principal Timpany School were the resource persons.

Dr Kiran Mayi has conducted session for parents and teachers . The topic is

handling special children – a window into child’s mind.

16 Nov 2016

Children's Day was celebrated in the school. Special assembly was

conducted by the teachers. Games were also conducted for the students.

One day English workshop by Collins Publications was organized at Park

Hotel, concentrating on Pronunciation, vocabulary & listening activities. Mrs

Sarawati, TGT English attended the workshop.

Medhavi awards function conducted for the students of Classes VI-XII. Bronze

medals were awarded to the achievers by PTA President.

18 Nov 2016

One day workshop by 'Karadi Path' Education Company was conducted on

improvement of English Language. Mrs.D.Sunitha, TGT English attended the

workshop.

19 Nov 2016

One day Hindi workshop was conducted by Kriti Publications at Palm Beach Hotel,

highlighting the speaking skills practice in schools .Mrs. Poonam & Mrs.Rajbala,

Hindi faculty attended the workshop.

24 & 25 Nov 2016

ANNUAL Day 2016- Navy Children School, Nausena baugh, saw vibrance and life

being propelled into magnificent and reverberating celebrations entitled as

“NAKSHATRA- THE INSIGNIA OF LUMINOUS LIFE” at Samudrika. The Chief

Guest V Adm HCS Bisht, AVSM ADC, FOC-in-C. The Chief guest witnessed a

Theme based Foyer, Display of Zodiac signs represented by eminent personalities.

Entailing the formal welcome by the Head Girl, the progressive annual report was

read by the Principal ,followed by the Prize distribution ceremony for the achievers.

The programme was an amalgamation of various hues befitting the theme

wondrously.The props and costumes for the dances and plays added colour to the

festive occasion with the synchronized dance movement to the foot tapping music.

An astounding visual treat enthralled every spectator present.

Constitution day was observed in the school assembly, where in all the students &

staff of the school read the Preamble in unison.
