    Our trip offers a variety of activities to give you a different alternative to the trekking trips Nepal is so

    famous for. We will explore the Heritage sights of Kathmandu and Bhaktapur; enjoy the stunning viewsof Pokhara; experience a boat trip in Phew Lake; visit the magnificent Peace Stupa; spend 2 days thrilling

    rafting adventure in the Kali Gandaki River, then continue for a Safari to explore the wildlife of Chitwan

    National Park on elephant back.

    National Park, Kathmandu Kathmandu is the capital of Nepal situated 1345 m above the sea level. Kathmandu and nearest

    cities of Bhaktapur and Patan were all kingdoms until 18th century. The kings competed to make

    their cities the best in art, architecture, dance, traditional music, palaces and more.

    Located about 20 km east of Kathmandu in the Kathmandu Valley, Bhaktapur is known as the'City of Devotees', the 'City of Culture', the 'Living Heritage', and 'Nepal's Cultural Gem'. It is one

    of the 3 royal cities in the Kathmandu Valley. Bhaktapur is filled with monuments, most terra-

    cotta with carved wood columns, palaces and temples with elaborate carvings, gilded roofs,

    open courtyards. The city is dotted with pagodas and religious shrines. Lying along the ancient

    trade route between India and Tibet, Bhaktapur is surrounded by mountains and provides a

    magnificent view of the Himalaya.

    Pokhara is a remarkable place of natural beauty. Situated at an altitude of 827m from the sealevel and 200km west of Kathmandu valley, the city is known as a center of adventure. The

    enchanting city with a population of around 95,000 has several beautiful lakes and offers

    stunning panoramic views of Himalayan peaks.

    The serenity of lakes and the magnificence of the Himalayas rising behind them create anambience of peace and magic. So today the city has not only become the starting point for most

    popular trekking and rafting destinations but also a place to relax and enjoy the beauty of

    nature.

    White water rafting, The Kali begins its journey high on the Tibetan plateau in the kingdom ofMustang. Using the Deepest gorge in the world that is formed between the Mt. Annapurna

    (8346m) Massif and Mt. Dhaulagiri (8046m) and named after the ferocious goddess kali, the kali

    Gandaki is one of Nepal's very best rivers for whitewater adventure rafting. Many sights of

    colourful birds, monkeys, fishermen, and villagers. We will Camp by the bank in one of the best

    camping spots.

    Chitwan national park the world natural heritage spread over 1000 km once the huntingzone of British kings, princes and the royal family of Nepal. Tiger, Leopard, one horned rhino are

    the exclusive animals to be seen in this habitat and 400 species of colorful birds. Elephant back

    safari, nature walk, bathing with animal, local dances and the tranquil rest in the jungle lodge;

    Day 1

    Today is our arrival day. A Rahhalah Local guide will meet us at the airport and transfer to the hotel

    Cosy at Bhaktapur.

    Evening: welcome dinner at an authentic Nepali restaurant.

    Day 02

    Today after breakfast we will start our city tour and explore the magnificent Bhaktapur and Kathmandu.Durbar Square

    The Kathmandu Durbar Square is the historic place that was also a politically important site untilrecently. The Kings of Nepal were crowned and their coronation ceremony was solemnized in

    this durbar square. The Durbar Square, with its old temples and palaces, epitomizes the religious

    and cultural life of the people. The temples, monuments, and palaces are believed to have been

    built by the Malla kings of the Medieval Nepal.

    Almost 1/3 of the ancient temples, monasteries, and other ornate buildings were destroyed inthe earthquake of 1934. Yet many gems remain.

    In Durbar Square, tourists will find the 55-Window Palace, which served as the seat of royaltyprior to 1769. The palace has elaborately carved windows and doors and houses the National

    Art Gallery, with Buddhist Paubha scroll paintings, palm leaf manuscripts, and stone carvings. Just outside the palace, at the entrance to the Taleju Temple Complex is the Golden Gate, built

    in 1756, a splendid example of Repouss metalwork. There also lies the Royal Bath, with its

    Golden Faucet.

    Other famous landmarks around the area are the Temple of Living Goddess Kumari, the woodentemple of Kasthamandap, Ashok Vinayak, and the erotic art temple of Jaisi Deval. There are also

    museums inside the Durbar Square Palace.

    Other things will do and see around Bhaktapur

    Bhaktapur Nyatapol TempleThis temple is 30 meter tall, and is the tallest temple in the Kathmandu valley. It was built by King

    Bhupatindra Malla in 1708 AD. Each of its five terrace holds a pair of figures, starting from bottom

    wrestlers, elephant, lion, griffins and goddesses.

    Day 3:Today In the morning, we will take a flight to Pokhara (198 km distance from Kathmandu) which give us

    the opportunity to enjoy the stunning panoramic views of Himalayan peaks.

    We will then have a boating experience in the serenity of Phewa Lake which is added with the

    breathtaking view of Macchapuchre (Fishtail) mountain.

    Phewa Lake, the second largest lake in the kingdom, roughly measuring 1.5 km by 4 km, is thecenter of all attractions in Pokhara. The enchanting lake is an idyllic playground. Brightly

    painted wooden boats and sailboats can be rented on reasonable cost around lakeside.

    The eastern shoreline of the lake, popularly known as Lakeside or Baidam, consists of seeminglyendless strip of lodges, restaurants, bookshops and souvenir shops. One of the fascinating parts

    of lakeside is the splendid view of the mountains, especially when the still water reflects the

    peaks, creating a double image.

    Day 4

    Early morning after breakfast we will visit the massive Buddhist stupa which is situated on top of a hill

    on the southern shore of Phew lake. Besides being an impressive sight in itself, the shrine is a great

    vantage point which offers spectacular views of the Annapurna range and Pokhara city.

    The brilliant-white World Peace Pagoda was constructed by Buddhist monks from the JapaneseNipponzan Myohoji organisation.

    In the afternoon we will do a sightseeing tour around Pokhara. Some of the sights we will visit are Barahi

    temple; The old bazaar; Matepani Gumba( Budhist Monestery); Mahendra Gupha(cave); etc

    Day 5

    Today after breakfast, we drive 3-4 Hours to the put-in point near Beni to start thrilling rafting

    adventure in the Kali Gandaki River. Throughout this drive we have stunning views of the Annapurna

    and Dhaulagiri peaks as well as the sacred Machapuchare. Kali Gandaki River is beautiful unspoilt river

    with gorgeous,wildlifeand a feeling of remoteness.

    After arriving around mid day at the rafting spot, we will be briefed by the rafting guide about the

    safety, equipment paddling techniques. Then its time to raft and enjoy thrilling rapids like twins rock, s

    band, ladies delights, upsets and more one by one. W e will be also looking for colorful birds and

    wildlife. We will spend the night on the bank river and will be served freshly prepared dinner by our

    rafting crew.

    Day 6

    After breakfast, coffee and tea; we will continue our rafting adventure for a few hours mixed with

    adrenaline calm and spectacular scenery. Our rafting will end and we will drive to Chitwan National Park

    and we will start our jungle safari and look for wildlife. After arrival, and lunch you will start jungle

    trekking watching the wildlife and sunset. Welcome authentic Nepali show followed by dinner.

    Day 7

    Chitwan National park is the World natural heritage site of Nepal. It is spread over 1000 sq. km.It was once the hunting zone of Royal family, Rana regime and their guests; the royal family of

    the UK when India was colonized by UK. The exclusive animals residing in this jungle are Tiger,

    Leopard, One horned rhino, bear, crocodile and more than 400 species of birds and herbs. Wildboar, deer( 4 types) , pea cock, Gharial, are the common species of this Jungle.

    The activities of the safari is scheduled in the Lodge as 2 hours Elephant back safari, nature walk,canoeing, bird watching, Tharu dances, bathing with Elephant, slide show about the National

    park and a lot of relaxation in the jungle lodge.

    Tharu tribe is the ethnic group of this jungle who are also known as the malaria proof peoplewho came to live in the middle of the jungle when Rajasthani in India were attacked.

    Day 8

    End of your Jungle safari. After breakfast and time we go back to Kathmandu via scenic Prithvi highway.

    Our guide will be willing to either take you to more heritage sites or you can spend few hours on yourown.

    Farewell dinner at an authentic Nepali restaurant with cultural show.

    Day 9

    After breakfast you will have some time in Kathmandu to spend on your own.
