The NB8WVPN is an extremely powerful Internet
access device delivering top-line ADSL2+
performance and advanced features perfect for
business and home users.
With support for up to 10 Internet Protocol
Security (IPsec) tunnels the NB8WVPN is perfect
for virtual private network (VPN) connections.
With the increasing reliance on external staff
members and remote offices, the need for
secure connections to head office LANs is
growing exponentially. With its VPN capability the
NB8WVPN can give you secure communications
for up to 10 users at any given time through the
public Internet, providing you with the knowledge
that only the people you allow access to your
network can connect.
This powerful device also features 11g/54Mbps
wireless for in office connections and 4 wired
Ethernet connections and with support for
AnnexM to greatly increase the available upstream
bandwidth on connections that support it. Security
is a key element in the NB8WVPN with active
firewall technology (SPI/DoS, packet filtering and
access control) and a host of wireless security
features including WEP, WPA, WPA2 and 802.1 x
authentication.
