University of VermontThinking about transferring?

You can save on tuition when you transfer from community college to an eligible

program at an out-of-state public four-year institution in New England.

4 in 10 students in New England transfer at least once in their college career.

nebhe.org/tuitionbreak/transfer

Tuition savings

• 9,001 students saved $60 million-plus on their 2016-17 tuition bills

• A full-time student saved an average of $8,000

• Since 1957, New England students and families have saved over $1 billion

Tuition Break allows an eligible student to pay a discounted rate, which is significantly less than out-of-state tuition. The rate is based on a percentage (up to a maximum of 175 percent) of a college’s in-state rate.
