Lead CBO will collect data for the five community support program indicators stated above.CBO may also select their own project indicator in each category to fit the needs

of their communities or use the indicators outlined.

Indicator: Attendance rate of students in sixth, seventh, eighth and ninth grades

Indicators: #/% of young children who demonstrate age-appropriate functioning; have a medical home; and participate in early learning programs

Every CBO needs to have a solid plan and invest in it for their community’s future.

Involve each city’s mayor as a working agent vs. a partner

Recruit innovative or out of the box programs such as National Service, Teach for America, and etc.

Link Promise Community initiatives with other programs or initiatives statewide.

Allow our Promise Communities opportunities to showcase their planning or seeking funding by way of presentations to key constituents.
