Shift Interlock Levers

TechSmart® introduces our R53013 VVT Solenoid/Spool Valve for 2009-02 Honda 2.4L Accord, CR-V, and Element models. Honda’s variable valve timing system (i-VTEC) uses a solenoid (also know as a spool valve) to maximize power and fuel efficiency. Over time these original units can leak or become clogged resulting in a failed solenoid, a P2647 DTC, and the vehicle entering limp mode. Every TechSmart® replacement unit comes complete with a spool valve assembly, gaskets, and mounting bracket.

TechSmart® offers more than 40 new complete key fob assemblies for GM and Ford. Original assemblies may become damaged due to water intrusion, terminal corrosion, circuit board failure, or case damage. Each TechSmart® key fob is a high-quality direct-fit replacement that follows the OE programming procedures.

TechSmart® now offers 3 Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor Repair Kits for popular GM & Ford Light Truck applications. With these TechSmart® exact-fit kits there’s no need to replace the entire pedal assembly when just the sensor fails.

The original shift interlock lever in 2008-05 Chrysler 300, Pacifica, Dodge Charger & Magnum models equipped with a floor shifter is known to fail due to the OE plastic construction. When the OE plastic lever breaks, the car will not shift out of park. TechSmart® has designed a replacement shift interlock lever assembly that is machined out of billet aluminum and anodized for long-lasting strength, durability and smooth shifting operation. With TechSmart® you won’t need to replace the entire shifter assembly when just the lever fails!

TechSmart® has expanded our line of direct-fit Thermostat Housing Assemblies and Automatic Transmission Oil Cooler Thermostats. All of our Thermostat Housing Assemblies include

a thermostat, gasket/seal, and coolant temperature sensor (where applicable). Every Automatic Transmission Oil Cooler Thermostat is designed to operate within the optimal temperature range specified by the OE manufacturer. The 6.0L Ford Power Stroke diesel engine utilizes a Fuel Injection Control Module (FICM) to regulate fuel flow through the vehicle’s injection pump and fuel injectors. Over time, the rapid heating and cooling from normal operation takes its toll on the critical circuitry of the original module’s power board. The engineers at our Orlando, Florida advanced electronics manufacturing facility have redesigned the board from the ground up with significant performance upgrades, ensuring the system failure is fixed right the first time.

Over time the stock spring can weaken, resulting in a drop in fuel pressure that can damage the injector. Symptoms include hard start, stalling, poor mileage and poor acceleration. The TechSmart® R81001 kit delivers an increase of 10 -15 PSI of fuel pressure to ensure that adequate fuel is present to dampen and lubricate the internal fuel injector components to maximize performance and injector life.

TechSmart® introduces a new line of Diesel Valve Cover Gasket Kits for Ford 7.3L engines. Over time, the original gasket can crack and leak engine oil. Each TechSmart® kit is constructed of high-quality materials and unlike the dealer part, comes complete with a new valve cover gasket, glow plug harness, and a new pigtail for a complete repair that stands up to the harshest underhood conditions.

Replaces damaged or clogged turbocharger actuators on Ford’s Variable Geometry Turbocharger (VGT) equipped 6.0L Engines

TechSmart® engineers improved the rust-prone high-failure OE Turbocharger Oil Drain Tube design by developing a drain tube using zinc plated cold-rolled steel.

Replaces OE sleeves damaged over time by carbon build-up

On Dodge Ram 5.9L Cummins Diesel engines, the injector tubes or cross-over tubes transfer fuel from the outside fuel line to the injector inside the cylinder head. Over time the original units can wear down causing fuel leakage and a hard start or no-start condition. You should replace the injector tube with every fuel injector replacement.
