The construction of stile-and-rail doors

Stile-and-rail doors consist of the stiles, rails, and panels joint by coupling screws on special equipment. Stile could be produced of wood plushoneycomb filler MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) or just wood (by request).We constantly improve our factory and modernize production, so now we are also able to produce assembled doors without coupling screws, whichallows facilitating the construction without loss of strength, and simultaneously to improve the aesthetic properties of the door leaves (technologyused only in Collections “Elegant”, “Nostra”, “Maestra”, “Italiano”).

Stile-and-rail doors are produced using edgeless technologies. This allows covering by decor each element separately. The stile-and-rail doorleaf design allows replacing of certain parts in the case of damage. The door leaf perimeter has its own strengthened features, which generally give atangible result during daily operation over the years (up to 50 years of service life).

The construction of stile-and-rail doors

Advantages of the stile-and-rail door leaves with wood and MDF honeycomb construction (Italian technology)

The advantages of this technology:

Ample structural rigidity of the elements, lower weight of the leaf compared to a wooden construction;

The reduced weight of the door leaf allows transporting more products at the same time;

Allows you to reduce the load on the locks, hinges, and, as a result, increases the service life of door accessories (hardware);

Minimizes the possibility of sagging and skewing of the door leaf, that can lead to repair or replacement;

Eliminates the possibility of deformation and curvature in cases of influence of temperature and humidity changing;

Resistance to bending moment (ability to restore position after mechanical action);

The door leaf undergoes multi-stage quality control, as well as tests resource on a test-stand in the format “closing-opening with a pressure”. Test results show that doors stand 55 thousand cycles. This guarantees a minimum claims and complains or their complete absence;

Reducing the use of wood contributes to the conservation of green spaces - the "lungs" of our planet

Flush or hollow-core door leaves have a perimeter from a finger-jointed pine timber bar measuring 28х34 mm. To increase the mounting of mortise elements onthe door leaf in the place of the insert of the lock and hinges installed two wooden logs.

The cavity of the flush door leaf is filled by paper honeycomb with a density of 125 g/m2.

The high-quality honeycomb filling makes the door both lightweight and strength. The perimeter is cased by panels: MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) with athickness of 3 mm and a density of 750-850 kg/m3 in the collections “Kvadra” and “Modern”;HDF (High-Density Fiberboard) with a density of 1000 kg /m3 (in collections “Simply” and “Fortis” — panels-skins, which have stamped molded elements, thestructure of wood is formed by vacuum pressing).

The edges of the flush door leaf covered by PVC foil with a 0.5 mm thickness that significantly increases the door's resistance to mechanical damages.

resistance, is eco-friendly, safe for human health at all stages of production and during use.For this collection, our designers have developed a modern color palette. It including thefollowing decors: Himalayan nut, Scandinavian nut, European nut, Siberian nut, Norwegiannut. Type of glazing: Sateen, Bronze, Graphite. The surface of the door leaf covered by thisdecor resembles natural wood, that smooth and pleasant to the touch, without the feelingof artificial covering and resistance to mechanical damages.

Polypropylene PremiumPolypropylene finishing for interior doors of the New Style Door Factory has the following advantages:

— Eco-friendly, safe for human health at all stages of production and during use. There are no chlorine andhalogen compounds in its composition, so polypropylene covering does not emit toxic substances and does not passformaldehyde;— The surface of the covering is smooth and pleasant, resembles the surface of the treated wood;— It a pleasant on touch feeling of warmth, that does not give the impression of artificial or “cold” doors, as ithappens with other polymeric materials;— The special varnish covering makes it is more resistant to mechanical damages (scratches and scuffs);— It doesn't formed cracks and color changes on bends. damage, and moisture. PVC Decor imitates the structure of natural wood grain, doesn't change color. The absolute advantage ofPVC DeLuxe is its saturation and variety of colors. Interior doors in PVC decor are difficult to distinguish from solid wood or veneerdoors. The only thing that sets them apart is a light glossy shine that resembles a lacquer covering. PVC ULTRAPVC ULTRA is the new color palette of polymeric finishing New Style Door Factory. The decor is resistant to

temperature extremes, and the influence of sunlight, damage from strokes and scratches. The refreshed range of colorsaccurately imitates, visually and on touch, the texture of the wood. PVC ULTRA colors look natural and most closely tonatural wood. PVC ULTRA doors are difficult to distinguish from solid wood or veneer doors. The coating has the followingadvantages:— Long service life;— Resistance to influence of external factors;— Easy to care - can be wiped with a damp sponge with a mild soap or alcohol solution during cleaning;— Fresh, natural shades;— All doors of the same color do not differ in shades (there is no unevenness in one shade).

EcoveneerEcoveneer is an innovative decor made using ongoing pressure intention coating technology. The main raw material for this

coating is the smallest parts of wood glued together by a polymeric binder under pressure. The material for the future decor iscolored at the stage of mixing the components, so the decors in this series don't have the difference in shades. Ecoveneer also hasperfect aesthetic properties, in particular, the effect of hi-tech. This means that the decor imitates the natural wood texture asaccurately as possible, has a matte sheen, and pores and relief are palpable.

Ecoveneer has the following advantages:— Detailed veneer imitation at a lower price. The difference cannot be determined at first sight or even by touch;— Increased resistance to moisture and steam for 24 hours. Allowed using wet clean;— Certified according to international environmental and safety standards.
