The State of Kuwait hosted and sponsored last month the 3rd Kuwait Oil and Gas

Conference and Exhibition which reflects the importance of Kuwait on the oil

industrial map and its influence in the international oil markets. The conference

coincided with the diligent efforts which the Kuwaiti oil sector puts forth to carry

out its 2020/2030 strategic directions which is aimed to underpin the status of Kuwait

and Kuwait Petroleum Corporation in the oil industry internationally.

Indisputably, the Kuwaiti oil sector avails greatly from holding such conference

through exchanging experiences and visions on the oil industry with chairpersons of

huge international oil companies and experts.

The conference has witnessed this year several considerable achievements among

which signing the contract of clean fuel project which is tasked with improving

the capacity of refineries besides reinforcing integration between refining and

petrochemical industry; in addition to providing appropriate atmospheres for

constructive collaboration among the international oil companies in this domain

particularly in modern technology which is applied in the oil industry.

In fact, KPC has confronted huge internal and external challenges; however, it

managed under such hard circumstances to preserve efficiently its high-level

performance and arrange its priorities and requirements of the coming phase.
