The Little Church at St. Peters
The Little Church at St. Peters on Sunday mornings at 10am Mass.
Following the Popes visit
we are trying to engage in a greater outreach to members of the
Parish who may need a little
extra encouragement. The Little Church helps to engage the
children, to meet new friends,
and to become familiar with the Parish Community and its
workings at Mass on a Sunday
morning. It also helps the parents who may wish to attend Little
Church themselves or
remain in church for the Mass. The children return to the church
in time for the Offertory
Procession. While in the Parish Hall with the Leaders the
children learn prayers, sing hymns ,
and listen to the Readings of Sunday. It also helps the families
for Parish Preparation of the
Sacraments of First Holy Communion and Confirmation. All of this
is an additional tier to help
parents with their responsibility in the Catholic upbringing of
their children. See you on

Sacred Heart Church
Their is also a childrens group run each Sunday for the young
church community at
Sacred Heart Church.

If you have a change to your mobile phone number or any contact
details for your child can
you PLEASE
let Mrs Bowker know as soon as possible. Last year when we had
the bad weather and school
had to be closed, we used Text 2 Parents and it worked very
well, but for this system to
work we need up to date information.
School Coats
Warm, shower proof school coats are now available from the
office all sizes in
school.
Spooky Disco raised 293.25 thank you to the parents and PTA
forthis.

School Coats
FRONT GATE
Can you please make sure you close the front gates, as you come
in and out of school. This need
closing even if you are coming for the before and after school
club, the gate is to ensure that
ALL children in school stay safe.
If your child has a doctors / dentist appointment can you please
bring in a letter or appointme
card to show the time and date, thank you.
Water Bottles
Can we please remind parents that water bottles sent into school
must be clear and the content
should contain water only.
Bottles can be bought from school if needed for 1.50

Just a reminder about the next training day it is Monday 6th
December
The St Francis Fun Factory has spaces if you would like to use
them. You dont have to be workin
to take advantage of the club you may just want a late night
shop without the children or just timfor yourself.
Opening hours are:
7.30 a.m. 8.45 a.m. and 3.20 p.m. 6.00 p.m.

If your child has won something or passed an exam please let us
know and it can be added to the news letter
School lunches are 1.70 per dayor 8.50 per week. Can you please
send dinner money into school on a
Monday morning in an envelope with your childs name, class,
amount an
what it is for.
If your child forgets their packed lunch and has a school lunch
can you
please send the money in the NEXT day.
