University Staff Professional Development Day
1
“Smile and Give Someone Superpowers” Adam Bellcorelli - Keynote Speaker 2019
Adam Bellcorelli, former UWO LTE Staff, former UWO
Academic Staff, former UWO Residence Life Spouse (still the
spouse part), former Evans Hall Dad, former UWO Career
Services Grad Assistant, current Operations Catalyst with
Change Management Communications Center, and all around
cheerful guy will be the University Staff Day Keynote Speaker.
After his smash hit TedX Oshkosh experience, Smile and Give
Others Superpowers, Adam realized that the stage fright didn't
kill him and he had more fun stories to share, so he agreed to
join us. Adam will be telling the stories from his life, the
words of wisdom that give him perspective, the unique
struggles and opportunities that have allowed him to shine a
light on others' strengths, and the value of appreciating each
chance we get to connect with one another. Adam also shares stories of how important
everyday leadership is to us, to our community, and for creating the greater world we want
to see.

USPDD 2019 Workshops
Combined AM Session – 9:15 am – 11:30 am
Planting Around Campus Presenter: Lisa Mick This workshop is still a work in progress. It may be a vegetable or flower planting or it may be a new install of a perennial bed. The possibilities are endless! Come join us and plain the soil. Gloves and tools will be provided. If it should dare to rain, we will take a virtual walk of the campus talking about our edible attributes and other ecological plants.
Session 1 – 9:15 am – 10:15 am
Difficult People Presenter: Stephanie Bellin Dealing with a coworker who may have a communication style that’s challenging for you is common in the workplace. We all have to deal with people with different backgrounds, communication styles and habits we may find difficult. This seminar will help you learn how to cope with these individuals in the healthiest manner possible and how to take care of your own needs while learning to more effectively work with others. U.S. Coin Collecting – Tips and Tricks Presenter: Erik May Learn about the hobby of collecting coins. Develop your knowledge of the history of U.S. circulated coins; how to get started, what to collect and where to find collectible coins. What are your coins really worth? What about foreign coins? Feel free to bring your own coins.
Session 2 – 10:30 am – 11:30 am
