Three wins and a highlycompetitive performance fromthe4thsmarkagreatstarttoourseason.

Ifyoudontknowabout the1stsgreatwin yet, check your pulse. The Addy featured Ben Nevillesheroics, and so they should. Itwas a marvellous performancefrom one of our clubs mostmarvellous contributors. Thisblokeisablueblood.

Buttherewereother littlethingsworth noting as well, not theleast Chissas efforts behind thestumps, then with the bat, ondebut.

Some other people Id like tosingle out are the four newcaptains. What a great job theyaredoing.Fossie,ShivandTwadsallhadwinningstartstotheirnewroles.

As coach I wander around theclub quite a bit, hearing this, seeingthat.

OnethingIdoseeisthatwehavesome very good leaders on thefield, and somevery fine leadersoffthefield.

Our President is a doer, anabsolute beauty. He just neverstops. I dont know when hesleeps. Whenhedoes sleep, heprobablydreamsaboutwhathastobedonenextattherooms, orsome other calamity around theclubthatneedstobefixed.

So I see thatwehave someverygood chiefs some things I amhearing though make me thinkwe need a few more doersaroundtheplace.

If you see something that needsto be done, dont go off into acornerandhuffandpuffabout itand try and big note yourselfbytelling everyone this or thathasntbeendone.

    Putyourhandupanddoit.

Thatwasprobablyoneofthefewdisappointing aspects of theweekend, hearing blokescriticisinginsteadofdoing.

    To paraphrase John Kennedy,dontcriticise,justdosomething.

One positive that we mustacknowledgewastheworkofGTand Simmo to getup thewicketatQueensPark.Theweatherhadbeen very unkind to us, with afew more heavy showers than

other parts of Geelong receivedputting our wicket and ourcuratorial staff, under severepressure.

Thankfully, Simmo and GT aredoers and because they are, wenotonlygotagameonSaturday, but a great game that producedsix points. Thats what happenswhen you have doers doing, insteadofcriticscriticising.

    Letsseewhatwecanalldonextweekend.
