NIMIRTABorn and raised in Hong Kong, Nimirta’s fascination towards clothes, and a desire to give women a vintage
inspired and bohemian line that is glamorous, compelled her to start her own label ‘NIMIRTA’ in Bangalore in 2007.
She loves working with solid tones like white, red and black, and uses plenty of grey and nudes in her work.
While her designs are sophisticated and chic, and embody a softly feminine symmetry and a sense of timelessness
that flatters most body types in a way that accentuates the personality, she also focuses on cuts and minimalistic but
striking embellishments.
These creations offer the wearer luxury and glamour for evening cocktails, dinner parties and night outs about town.
Nimirta has also showcased her collections at the Wills India Fashion Week and was amongst the Top 20 granted
with the first Vogue Fashion Fund in India.
