We wanted to create a base that would break in like a real skate deck when the graphic scratches off and the underlayer of color shows through. When you go thru your top layer of base you have a second colored layer to protect the core.

The Gross Out series is the newest addition to our Pro Series decks. Our Team rips hands down, but it’s a kick in the ass to see all the funny shit they do and hijinx they get into on and off the snow. So for the new series we had our resident art destroyer Paul Brown draw up the Gross Out Kids. For 2011 the Pro Series decks are built with a new, killer all-terrain shape, our virtually unbreakable Combat Core construction and Gullwing Camber technology. Eero is a tech wizard who does his shit big and drops hammers. From rails to jumps to backcountry lines, he’s doing it his own way and making it look good. His pro model has evolved over the years just as his riding has. Eero loves consistency so the running length on all of his pro models is the same. He’s just extending the length of the nose and tail to fit whatever he is riding. Eero rides all season, which means durability is a huge factor: so we have added Ballistic Impact Panels and the Powerlite Core to his model. The Tri-Progressive Sidecut makes for a very lively turning board and the Profile Tip for added maneuverability.

ROOKThe multiple board test winning Rook has become the go to board this season, because of its true twin, mid-wide shape and Zero camber that makes the board easier to transition from rails to jumps. The Bi-Lite Laminates give the Rook a very forgiving flex while the Ballistic Impact Panels and Railkiller Edge take all the abuses that the park dishes out. For 2011 we dropped the camber to Zero and added our new Pop Band in the fiberglass for boosted ollie snap. Dennis McNett is visual liberation. An artist, a craftsman and most of all a visionary that cuts his own path through his life as well as his work.As far as we are concerned Dennis is a lifer with us and we are more than proud to offer our third collection with him for 2011. We are not looking for the next hot artist of the minute to collab with, we are looking for partners in crime who share the same passion for what they do that we do... they eat, live and bleed it and Dennis McNett is just that guy. Dennis McNett was born in 1972 and grew up in Virginia Beach, VA. He moved to New York in 2001. He has been carving the hell out of surly block prints for over 17 years. All of his encour-agement as a young kid came from his blind grandfather, who told him over and over again that his drawings were good. Later influences came from the raw high-energy graphics pouring out of the 80’s skateboard and punk rock scene. Dennis has been fortunate enough to show work both nationally and internationally, design board graphics for Anti-Hero skateboards, design shoes for Vans, participate in the Deitch Artparade. His work has been featured in The New York Times, Juxtapoz magazine, Thrasher and Complex Magazine. He holds an MFA from Pratt Institute, where he now teaches as a printmaking professor at the graduate and undergraduate level. He wants to live until he dies. Check out his work at Howlingprint.com.

Since the Team is such a solid board it was the perfect fit for our Gullwing Camber technology. The Gullwing Camber makes it easier to initiate anything from presses to floating in the pow or just casual groomers. By positioning the camber right under your feet, you can pop solid ollies and have control when landing, yet it still allows you to unweight the front or back foot when making that transition in powder, tight turns or presses, making it a very catch free ride. The T1 has evolved into one of the most fun twins on the market, because of its versatile shape, multiple sizes, standard and wide widths and forgiving flex. On top of all of that we have made great even better by adding our Reflex Core Profile and Zero Camber. The combo of these two innovations gives the forgiving feel of a Gullwing board, but the pop of a camber deck. The T1 is easy to manipulate at slow speed for tech tricks, but it still has tons of control for when you’re pointing it. The Magnum has become the shred sled of choice amongst riders with large feet because it gives them an advantage over those without a solid landing platform. The Magnum has never been treated as a wide board, because it has none of the characteristics of wide boards. It’s light and responsive with its directional shape that is perfectly blended to rip turns in pow or on groomers without speed scrubbing toe drag. For 2011 we have upgraded the Magnum with our Sintered Speed Formula Base, meaning you will be passing by all those barnies stuck in the pow with their little twigs.

Huge cut-outs for airbags in the toe and heel part bring the weight down to a minimum while a new coring pattern en-hances strength and response. The Anthem has been a staple for riders who want freestyle and park performance. It has a combination of our EVA and rubber sole that makes it light yet durable and provides great board feel. For 2011, the new TLS 4 has thinner dyneema® loaded laces and a modified cleat design; it is smaller and stonger for even smoother operation, effectiveness and reliability.

03. NEW DUAL AIR DAMPENING The Dual AIR concept extends the shock absorbing qualities known from heel airbags to the toe area while significantly reducing the weight of the boot.
