No More Tears

WEEP

• Shed tears

• Emotional tears are made up of a different chemical component than those evoked by eye irritants and can relay chemical messages to others

• “Tears are words the heart can't express”

• Emotional tears are composed of more protein-based hormones, and a natural pain killer

• “Tears are the safety valve of the heart when too much pressure is laid on it.”

TEARS COMMUNICATE • Tears come from the heart and not from

the brain (Leonardo Da Vinci)

• Record my misery; list my tears on your scroll, are they not in your record? (Psalms (56:8)

REAL MAN CRY

• Joseph wept : (Gen 43: 29 – 31; 45:14-15; 50:1)

• Peter wept : And he went outside and wept bitterly (Luke 22:62)

• The mighty King David wept: (1 Sam 20:41)

• Job’s friends wept: (Job 2:12)

JESUS WEPT • Jesus wept for Jerusalem (Luke 19: 41)

• He cried for you. “Your enemies will build an embankment against you and encircle you and hem you on every side.”

• Jesus wept for Lazarus (or did He?)

• He came down to your world

• “Your brother will rise again”

“LAZARUS COME OUT!”

• Jesus did not come to mourn

• Jesus conquers death

• Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy. Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them. Psalms 126:5-6)

Jesus conquered in situ. He came in person.

NO MORE TEARS!

“HE WILL WIPE EVERY TEAR FROM THEIR EYES. THERE WILL BE NO MORE DEATH OR MOURNING OR CRYING OR PAIN FOR THE OLD ORDER OF THINGS HAS PASSED AWAY.” (Rev 21:4)
