Nord PIANC 2013

• Nord PIANC conference every second year.

• Tallinn, Estonia in 2011, and before thatin Iceland, Denmark, Sweden and Finland.

• 2015 in Finland

Nord PIANC• All together 40 delegates from: Estonia, Lithuania, Finland, Sweden,

Denmark, Iceland, Shetland and Norway, and…PIANC President Geoffroy Caude and PIANC Secretary General Louis van Schel.

• Thursday evening – “Get together party” in one of the old harbor shed.

• Friday – conference in the main office – Port of Oslo

• Friday evening – technical tour/guided afternoon tour in Oslo harbor.

• Saturday – technical tour to Port of Borg

• Saturday evening – conference dinner

The conference• The Nord PIANC program consisted

of a seminar where all member countries participated with relevant presentations.

• The conference took place in the main office of Port of Oslo.

Technical tours

• Technical tour - guided afternoon cruise in Oslo harbor.

• Guided tour to Port of Borg and a boat trip at the river mouth of Glomma, with a presentation of the plan for constructing a better and safer fairway to the port. The major dredging projects run by the Norwegian Coastal Administration in the coming years. Total costs 100 million Euro.
