• The U.S. as the only nation to use atomic weapons against mankind?– The subsequent Cold War with the USSR?

• ‘Ephemeral’ Nature of Nuclear Processes?

• Environmental Issues?– Potentially Severe Accidents– Disposal/Storage/Transport of waste material
