     Our local chapter board meetings are generally on the second Saturday following the

    dinner meeting.

     Our local chapter monthly dinner meetings are generally on the third Thursday of each month.

     If you know of any restaurants in your area that would allow us to hold our chapter meetings and

    can accommodate up to 50 people (more or less) please contact a Chapter Representative.

    Ryan Hunsicker 2011 RSB Chapter Treasurer

    In a very close vote Ryan Hunsicker PLS squeaked past Tom Herrin PLS by one vote to

    be elected the 2011 RSB Chapter Treasurer at the elections held September 25 at the

    Walk-a-Thon. The rest of the 2011 RSB Chapter Officers for 2011 are President-Wm.

    T. Smith PLS, President Elect-Peter G. Wiseman PLS and Secretary- Ryan Versteeg

    PLS. Tom we expect to see you back on the ballot for the 2012 Treasurer.

    President’s Message

    Fellow Surveyors, Our First Annual Initial Point Walk-a-Thon and 5K Run followed by a picnic in the park was on September 25th at Yucaipa Regional Park in Yucaipa. We were able to raise approximately $1,500 with this fundraiser! Prior to the picnic we had a brief business meeting which included closing nominations and voting for next year’s Treasurer. It was a close race. Our Treasurer for 2011 is Mr. Ryan Hunsicker, Supervising Land Surveyor with the County of San Bernardino. Congratulations Mr.Hunsicker! Thank you to all who participated in mak- ing this event a success. Wow, this year has flown by as we are in the last quarter of 2010. We have scheduled a dinner meeting in Temecula for October 21, Trig-Star Information Workshop for November 13, and our annual Christmas Party for December 4 with the passing of the gavel. Then starting January 4 we begin our
