Thoughts from the Loyal Knight

Members all, we certainly have our challenges set before us. We have been working very hard in the background to develop new strategies to help our lodge. In the meantime we have had to make some painful cutbacks. These strategies appear to be helping and we are now getting on a better path financially.

We have launched a new website and Facebook page. These will help to promote our lodge and enhance our communication. We are also

sending weekly Bugle Blasts via e-mail to keep members up to date on the latest events and happenings at the lodge. If you are not getting these e-mails, please let me know!

Much thanks is due to our lodge members and the our Boy Scout Troop for their work to clean-up our parking lot. My son Sullivan performed his Eagle Scout project —restriping the parking lot. Check-out the photos on our Facebook page! Please note the announce-ments regarding our Boy Scout Troop’s fundraisers and food drive. We currently have a Holiday Wreath Fundraiser—sales sheets and order forms are on the lodge bulletin boards. The scouts’ food drive will be October 15th until November 8th.

I hope to see you around the lodge soon, it’s a great place to be!
