The “Continuing Appropriations Act, reduced IDEA funds by 1.503%

Michigan received a reduction of approximately $4.5 million

The “Consolidated Appropriations Act, decreased the across-the-board reduction from 1.503% to 0.189%.

20

From The Director’s Desk

Michigan’s reduction will be approximately $600,000.

The Office of Special Education will be utilizing  a portion of their set-aside funds to replace this reduction, resulting in no change to the allocations to ISDs.
