    next generation low cost and efficient surveillance

    systemTo allow a client to keep a vigil over the area whichhe wants to be secure by his private security systemcomprising of spanning place via a robot and livevideo streaming, over the internet and raise analarm and alert the cops or local security agency bydialing a SOS number just by clicking a button onwebsite.

    Functional

    Requirements(Atleast Eight)

    i. The administrator will be provided access to aGSM connection for a public IP.

    ii. The administrator will use an IP updater clientand a DNS registration service.

    iii. The administrator will be provided his ownwebsite and own web server.

    iv. The administrator will be able to configure thearea to be spanned and other parameters like thevideo quality bit rate etc.

    v. The client need to login in his website andshould be able to get continuous video streaming ofthe place.

    vi. The client should be able to review therecorded videos over the internet.

    vii. The robot will be able to span whole area to becovered controls will be on the website.

    viii. The client will be able to alert the cops and aproper log would be maintained.

    5.Non-functionalrequirements(Atleast Four)

    i. Secure access of confidential data (users

    details). SSL can be used.ii. 24 X 7 availability

    iii. Better component design to get betterperformance at peak time

    iv. Flexible service based architecture will behighly desirable for future extension

    6. Optionalfeatures

    a. Using intruder alert in non-permitted areaand alerting the client to log in website andperform required operation.

    c. Small size website and its features to useon cell phones.
