Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School Atlanta, GeorgiaLL.M. in American Legal Studies Online LL.M. in Employment Law

Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School (AJMLS) offers an online LL.M. in American Legal Studies for foreign- educated lawyers interested in studying American law from their home countries. The program includes an optional Honors Capstone Colloquium at the end of the four-semester program. Students may enter in September, January, and May. AJMLS also offers an LL.M with a concentration in Employment Law.

In 2012, Boston University (BU) School of Law’s Graduate Tax Program began offering an online option for its LL.M. in Taxation program. The program is designed for domestic and foreign trained lawyers looking to expand their expertise in tax law. It can be completed in as few as four consecutive sessions of part-time study or over a period of four years.

John F. Kennedy University’s (JFKU) online LL.M. in Legal Studies is for those who possess foreign first degrees in law who may or may not be working in the legal profession, and other global adult learners. The program can be completed in one year. JFKU is not ABA-accredited but it is accredited by The Committee of Bar Examiners of the State Bar of California which permits graduates of JFKU to take the California Bar Examination upon graduation.
