ICE BREAKER

Welcome

Panel ukactive: Jade Harris Active in the Community: James Cavalier

Who are we:

ukactive exists to improve the health of the nation by getting more people, more active, more often. ukactive provides services and facilitates partnerships for a broad range of organisations, all of

which support our vision and have a role to play in achieving that goal.

We serve over 4,000 members and partners from across the public,

private and third sectors, from multinational giants to local voluntary community groups. We do so by facilitating partnerships,

campaigning and providing outstanding membership services.

ukactiveKIDS champions the benefits of physical activity for children and young people, working across communities to get more children,

more active, more often.

Our mission is to get more children, more active, more often whilst raising the standards of children’s activity provision, driven by a

commitment to best practice and quality standards.

The feedback - users

“Great support, better than I

have had at other facilities.”

- Youth Futsal League

“We have been using PRS for 5 years now and never

with previous management had such a good

experience and flexibility.” - Aylesbury Futsal Club

“Excellent

communication channel

to key personnel.”

- Walking Football

Group “You guys do a great job

and are the most

responsive off all the

providers I use.” - Bucks Cricket Board

“I have hired sports halls through 3 other companies in

the past and AITC is by far the most professional and

organised.” - Hoop Heroes Basketball

“You are a very welcome replacement to SLS at PRS.

When compared to other school lettings management

companies, you are definitely the best I deal with and

your communication is clear and efficient. Thank you.” - Karate Club

The feedback - schools

“Active in the Community have been a breath of fresh air compared to other commercially focused lettings companies. They understand our needs as Schools as well as the groups that use our facilities. James is an excellent communicator and very organised. With AITC we have a partnership, not just a contract, that

supports our wider purposes as a Trust.”

“The Active in the Community Team have helped us with the organisation and facilitation of external bookings in regards to the sports facilities at the school. They set-up, take-down and organise equipment so the PE department can dedicate their time to delivering outstanding PE and Games lessons. The relationship has also led to some collaborative ideas and developments which would not have been possible

in the past. A great addition to the SHFGS community. “

Next steps

We would like to:

● Create partnerships with more schools in Bucks

● Improve their facilities

● Strengthen the local links for each of our schools

● Reinvest into community driven programmes

● Generate higher levels of unrestricted income for the schools
