Generate Documents with EaseDocument Engine is an integral part of Oracle BigMachines CPQ Cloud editions. It can be integrated with popular customer relationship management systems, enabling sales users, channel partners, value-added resellers, and distributors to quickly populate preloaded templates and generate documents that can be printed, faxed, or sent to a customer via e-mail.

Built with patent-pending technology, Document Engine offers an easy-to-use interface that is designed to feel instantly familiar to most users, because it shares the best practices and designs of popular word processing applications.

System administrators can customize document templates using a web-enabled editor. The IT and Business Admin user has the freedom to define page size and layout, adding tables, headers, footers, logos, and images to match the visual style of your company’s brand. These templates ensure that all sales users can create consistent sales documents, helping your business present a professional image during every step of the sales cycle.

Your IT and Admin User can even create a content library of dynamic information that can be used within different documents. Conditional statements can further determine when to include or exclude information.

With a few simple clicks, everyone on your sales team can now produce beautiful, consistent, accurate documents every time.

How It WorksTo employ Document Engine with your own documents, follow these simple steps:

Within Oracle BigMachines CPQ Cloud Service, select the display options for your document. Do you want to show all line items? How do you want to group your line items? Do you want to include detailed product descriptions or display product images?

Select a cover letter template.

Generate the completed quote or proposal documents in PDF or Microsoft Word format. Print, e-mail, or fax the results to your customer.

Select the customer billing and shipping information.

Add technical data sheets and drawings, if any, or select external documents from your computer, company network, or external shared drive.
