EFFICIENT STOCK MARKET THEORY: HOW TO INVEST (S-757-18)

Jun.28, 3 Hrs, 9:00-12:00, Room 28

Beginning in the 1970s, acceptance of the Efficient Market Theory radically changed the way both individuals and institutions invest in the stock market. In particular, passive low-cost index funds have grown rapidly in importance. Today seven out of the ten largest mutual funds are index funds. This theory suggests that investing is simple and paying for investment advice is a waste of money. This workshop will describe the history of this theory and how to use it to invest in the stock market.

Robert Anderson is a Ph.D economist who primarily worked in developing countries to improve their economies. He became interested in this theory in order to invest his savings for retirement.

CROP CIRCLES AND OUR MOON - INCREDIBLE NEW DISCOVERIES (S-758-18)

Jun.28, 3 Hrs, 1:00-4:00, Room 28

Some say crop circles are absolute proof of alien intelligence. They say that, unlike UFOs and ghosts, crop circles are a concrete reality in our lives. You can fly to England and walk among them as I did. Now the big question is...who is making them and WHY? Now our Moon is in the news. A vast amount of scientific evidence suggests that our Moon is not a natural satellite. Well if it is not a natural satellite then what is it? Get the rest of the story at the workshop.

Robert Redding is a retired cross country truck driver. He wrote a book about his 37 year career, currently on Amazon, called “Over The Road.” In 2011 he flew to England to take a tour of the crop circles that form near Stonehenge.
