・ simulation/integrated studies

global simulation of the radiation belts Miyoshi et al. [2006]

Comprehensive simulations including both micro wave-particle interactionand macro processes, which can be compared with the observations, are necessary for the ERG project.

As one of the activity of the simulation/integrated studies, Nagoya Universitystarts the new modeling/integrated study project : GEMSIS.

micro simulation Katoh and Omura [2007]

・ Project Science Center (Lead: K. Seki)

・ Science Coordination Team (Lead: Y. Miyoshi)

-Planning and coordination of science program.

-Making an arrangement of the international collaborations.

- We are developing of a software package to analyze observations and modeling based on IDL/TDAS.

-Related observation database in commonly used format like CDF will be implemented.

ERG project

- IUGONET is Inter-university project that develops the meta-data server of related ground-based data.- ERG-SC cooperates with the IUGONET to develop CDF-format, data-analysis tool.

- NICT has developed “OneSpaceNet” project that maintains IT resources such as WS, data server and networks for the study of geospace. - “OneSpaceNet” is one of candidates for backbone of IT architecture for ERG-SC.
