Ada beberapa atraksi seni yang sampai saat ini masih bertahan dan tetap rutin dilaksanakan oleh masyarakat baik itu dalam rangka pertunjukkan maupun upacara khusus, seperti: Pesta perkawinan adat Bugis dengan segala prosesinya, pagelaran tradisional Tari Jeppeng, Tari Gendrang Bulo, aneka tarian seperti Tari Padduppa, Tari Parapara, Tari Latu’salima dan pagelaran simponi kecapi serta lomba perahu tradisional yang di hias. Umumnya atraksi seni yang berupa tarian dilakukan dalam rangka peringatan hari-hari besar atau pada pertunjukan seni tradisional tertentu.

Tak jauh dari kawasan Pasar Senggol terdapat beberapa butik yang berada di Jl. Alwi Abdul Jalil Habibie di tepi pantai Mattirotasi. Taman Mattirotasi merupakan salah satu taman rekreasi baru yang ada di kota Pareparer. Taman ini berlokasi di kawasan pinggir laut di ujung utara jalan mattirotasi. Lokasinya tidak jauh dari Pelabuhan Nusantara dan pusat kota. Tempat ini merupakan tempat rekreasi keluarga kebanggaan masyarakat Parepare karena selain menyediakan tempat yang luas untuk anak-anak bermain, juga tersedia gazebo-gasebo untuk beristirahat sambil menikmati pemandangan laut dan matahari terbenam.

Arsitekturnya masih mempertahankan bagian bagian rumah adat bugis pada umumnya yang memiliki tiga bagian yaitu Rakkeang, Ale Bola dan Awa Bola. Dari tempat ini dapat dinikmati pemandangan kota Parepare dari ketinggian bukit dengan hamparan laut dan Tanjung Lero di kejauhan..

The location of this tradisional house is located on Jalan A. Sapada, AMSIR college region of Parepare. This tradisional house is a private residence of Mayor of Parepare HM Taufan Pawe, SH.MH. Its architecture still retain parts of the Buginese tradisional house that generally has three parts, namely Rakkeang, Ale Bola and Awa Bola. From this place can enjoy views of the Parepare city from the hill with spreading wide sea and Lero Cape in the distance.

Desa ini terletak sekitar 30 menit ke arah tenggara dari pusat kota. Desa ini merupakan wilayah bekas Kerajaan Bacukiki yang berdiri sekitar abad XV. Sisa-sisa peninggalan kerajaan kini disimpan di Museum Labangengnge’, sementara pada bekas berdirinya Saoraja (istana raja) kini berdiri sebuah mesjid yang

berada tepat di depan Kantor Kelurahan Wattang Bacukiki.Sebagai wilayah peninggalan zaman kerajaan, sebagian masyarakat desa ini masih memelihara keyakinan mereka pada Dewata Sewuae. Sebuah kepercayaan sebelum datangnya Islam ke bumi Sulawesi. Para penganut kepercayaan itu dikenal dengan nama Tau Lotang yang banyak tersebar di kabupaten lain yaitu Sidrap dan Wajo.

Gua Tompangnge berada di sebelah Tenggara Kota Parepare. Dapat ditempuh dengan waktu kurang dari 45 menit dari pusat kota. Gua alam ini sering juga disebut Gua Kelelawar karena dihuni oleh ribuan ekor kelelawar. Di dalam gua terdapat sungai dan air terjun, cocok bagi anda yang menyukai wisata alam petualangan. Untuk menggapai gua ini anda harus berjalan kaki sekitar dua kilometer menyusuri perbukitan dengan pemandangan alam yang indah dan tidak membuat anda lelah.

Tompangnge cave is located in southeastern of Parepare. It can be reached at least 45 minutes from the center of city, this natural cave is often also referred to the Bat Cave is inhabited by thousands of bats. You can also find other creeping things such as lizards and some snakes around this cave and there are also rivers and waterfalls in this cave. This cave is very suitable for those of you who love nature adventure. To reach the cave, you have to walk about two kilometers down the hills. Do not worry, you will not feel tired because along the way you are treated by a stretch of green garden which is in the hills.

This location is becoming more interesting because around this cave, there are waterfalls where the water flows from the strands of roots that hang from the top of the hill which is next to Cave Tompangnge.
