With partitioning systems to meet all needs and suit all aesthetic requirements from the purely functional to

those offering high performance, the Partitioning range from SAS caters for the needs of any specifier regard-

less of requirement or budget.

Precise and consistent quality are ensured by the meticulous engineering of framework components using the

latest computer controlled machining and polyester paint technology.

System 8000...the frameless glazing system which allows the penetration of daylight into the core of a

building - a true design statement...

System 8000 frameless glazed partitioning is at the forefront of modern

design. With minimalist framework free from panel joint trims it extends from

floor to ceiling and wall-to-wall without visibly reducing the interior space.

Allowing natural daylight to penetrate from the external facade through to

core areas, System 8000 creates an open and airy atmosphere to the inte-

rior environment.

Elevations can be designed as straight lines, faceted or curved ensuring the

only limit to the design of this stylish system is your imagination.

Aesthetics, function and performance roll into one to form this attractive and

relocatable system. Offering a creative selection of finishes and integral

detailing, it provides a design statement to satisfy the brief of the most cost con-

Uniform in appearance with virtually flush panel faces, it provides sound

attenuation levels for all performance requirements.

System 7000 has been designed for simplicity of construction, both during

initial installation and relocation by the use of neat clip-fit profiles, restricting

System 7000

SASPartitioning

The System 7000 partitioning system has a nominal 85mm footprint.

The detailing of System 7000 includes a consistent head channel depth through solid, glazed and full

height door elevations. It comprises of a steel framework with solid elevations faced with a single layer

of gypsum plasterboard. System 7000 has numerous feature joint options or can provide a flush mono-

lithic finish.

The system also offers a comprehensive choice of architectural detail to help create bespoke and individ-

ual projects. Six options of vertical panel joint detail for solid walls are avaliable, as are a variety of door-

frames including single action and double action timber leaf, and toughened glass. A selection of corner

details and skirting finishes are designed to compliment all system features.

Glazed panels make use of a choice of transom features. For full height glazing this system can provide

an optional recess within the head track, to conceal the head rail of interstitial blinds. Available in either

single or double glazing configurations System 7000 can provide both fire resistant and sound attenuat-

ing performance.

System 5000

System 5000 partitioning has a nominal 107mm footprint.

System 5000 components are manufactured from machined MDF, with all visible surfaces faced with hardwood

veneer and pre-finished with clear lacquer to enhance the durability of the materials. This ensures a constant

high quality. The use of veneered profiles gives a more uniform appearance than traditional timber systems.

Available veneer finishes are Oak, Ash, Maple and Steamed Beech (see ‘finishes’ page 28).

System 5000 clip-on joint trims, skirting and framework, assembled using concealed brackets, all provides sim-

ple dismantling and relocation when required.

Solid elevations can be constructed using galvanised steel stud profiles faced with gypsum

plasterboard, utilising System 5000 trims and skirting profiles, this allows the acoustic performance of the sys-

tem to be enhanced by the use of insulation material within the cavity.

Glazed elevations utilise the veneered MDF profiles for both non-fire rated and half hour fire rated double glazed

construction.

The System 5000 skirting conceals an accessible wire-way within a glazing base profile.

System 3000...a flexible, popular system offering a multitude of design options combined

with good sound and fire performance...

As a quality partition system, System 3000 offers specifiers attractive

rounded aluminium profiles and a multitude of design options together

with good performance characteristics. This establishes System 3000 as

a popular choice with designers and facility managers.

This partitioning system is non-load bearing, available in 75mm and

100mm nominal thicknesses. It can be constructed to provide both 30

minute fire resistance and good levels of sound attenuation.

System 3000

SASPartitioning


System 3000 has either a 94mm (75mm system) or 119mm (100mm system) nominal footprint depending upon

performance requirements.

Comprising a galvanised steel stud framework forming 1200mm wide modules, it is faced with either single or

double layers of 12.5mm thick gypsum plasterboard. The cavity can be utilised for electrical or data communication

services and infilled with insulation material to enhance the acoustic performance.Plasterboard faces can be

decorated with a wide selection of wall coverings (see ‘Finishes’ page 28).

For both non-fire rated and half hour fire rated construction, snap-in PVC glazing components are available in

white, black or grey colourways to achieve single centre, single offset or double glazing configurations. Glass

manifestations or interstitial horizontal blinds can be incorporated to satisfy aesthetic or privacy requirements.

System 3000 exposed framing components and trim sections are predominantly extruded aluminium profiles, most

of which are available from stock finished in either satin anodised, ‘fast track’ polyester powder coated White (RAL

9010) or Grey (BS 00 A 05). Alternatively standard colours are available to meet innovative requirements or the sys-

tem can be custom coated to suit specific client needs (see ‘Finishes’ page 28).

Joint options include standard cover trim, omega top hat section with PVC infill, pencil-line with concealed clip

fixing for a monolithic appearance, or taped and filled flush joints for a seamless finish.

System 2000

SASPartitioning


System 2000 has a nominal 60mm overall footprint.

It comprises of a lightweight aluminium framing with gypsum plasterboard honeycomb panel or hardboard faced

flaxboard panel infill for solid elevations. This can be decorated with a wide selection of wall coverings.

Glazed elevations utilise snap-in PVC glazing components available in white, black or grey colour ways to achieve

single centre, single offset or double glazing configurations.

Glass manifestations or interstitial horizontal blinds can be incorporated to satisfy aesthetic or privacy requirements.

System 2000 framing components are extruded aluminium profiles, most of which are available from stock, finished

in either satin anodised, ‘fast track’ polyester powder coated white (RAL 9010) or grey (BS 00 A 05). Alternatively

a standard range of colours is available to meet innovative requirements or the system can be custom coated to suit

specific client needs (please see ‘Finishes’ page 28).

Doorframes and corner posts are available as either square or rounded profiles.

Complimenting our variety of partitioning systems the door range com-

prises of a wide selection of different sizes and finishes to suit any

design.

Doors can be specified to include vision apertures in a variety of

shapes precision cut with a CNC router for superb accuracy. It is also

possible to accommodate simple bespoke logos machined from solid

timber and recessed into the door face.

Athough a significant feature of our partitioning systems, the SAS door

range can be purchased separately for application other than demount-

Doors are available in the following finishes in natural wood veneers:

Further options are available with a range of facsimile wood-grain finishes that give greater uniformity of appearance

than natural wood veneers, these are held in a range of popular sizes (see C.P.L details on the adjacent page and

‘Finishes’ on page 28.

Doors are available as cellular core in 44mm thickness, or solid core 44mm thick to provide 30 minutes fire

resistance and 54mm to provide 60 minutes fire resistance both subject to installation requirements.

There are also a range of ‘Fast Fit’ doors, pre-morticed for SAS standard lock and two standard hinges in a

universal un-handed configuration for ease of installation in System 2000, System 3000 or System 5000

doorframes.

Integration withSAS Metal Ceilings

The Challenge

The installation of relocatable office partitions willrequire mechanical fixings through the system headchannel to the ceiling grid or tile.

With conventional ceiling systems if a partition is dis-mantled or removed, the screw holes where thesefixings were made will remain as evidence of its origi-nal position.

The solution…..

The SAS International ceiling system range includesgrid and carrier options with a continuous integral6mm thread-form to permit fixings to be achievedwithout the need to drill or pierce the grid sections.

The use of these systems will permit the dismantlingor removal of the partition walls without any unsightlyreminders of their original location.

Enviro

This double skin steel, bonded core partition system is fully

demountable with features including head coving, recessed base,

preformed corner and three way panels, finished “services” provi-

sion, manual or automatic steel fire rated door sets.

The Enviro System is a double skin steel bonded core partition with

minimal number of horizontal ledges, a single 4mm line joint detail

and flush glazing. This creates a system that suits the

highest specification clean rooms.

System 1000A choice of three Monoblock Steel Partitioning Systems provide solutions in healthcare,

pharmaceutical, microbiological, food processing and other demanding working environments.

The partition system consists of pre-fabricated panel elements offer-

ing solid single and double glazing elements which incorporate a

keyed connection for rapid fast track and secure installation.

The Maxima system is ideally suited to modular office environments

where acoustic performance and flexibility for future space division

is a consideration.

These systems are inert, non-particle shedding and designed to pro-

vide a sealed clean room envelope. Clean room partitions are man-

ufactured to meet the technical requirements of high specification

controlled environments.

terial electrostatically polyester powder coating. Static dissipative

tion using computer aided design and fabrication procedures. This

results in superior doors, which combine strength, security, durabil-

ity.

Doors can be specified for exacting applications and locations,

ensuring enhanced performance and low maintenance costs.

Finished in polyester powder coating for extended weather resist-

ance with a choice of standard colours.

The range of security door sets is manufactured to varying levels of

protection and is suitable for refurbishment or new build situations.
