As always we are trying to keep a balance between the classics and modern patterns. We have updated many of our core hook patterns making them more fish-able - so, with this in mind the new PATRIOT Doubles and Singles are modern interpretations of our classic Bartleets, the M2 and N2 have been updated to increase the length of the point to ensure a better hook set. In 2014 we have introduced a range of barbless Salmon Hooks and we continue the trend of using a black nickel finish so that hooks are sticky sharp to land more fish.

Partridge is not a newcomer to this style of hook, having pioneered arrow-points and dropped-points before such hooks became popular. Partridge invented the purpose built predator (Pike) hook and has long worked with experts in the field to research and manufacture the best hooks for the job. There has been a tendency for fishermen to review the title of a hook and to say that it is not suitable as it bears the wrong species on the label.
