Apa sich bedanya aktive voice and passive voice??? Kalimat aktif merupakan kalimat yang subject-nya melakukan suatu pekerjaan atau melakukan suatu perbuatan,dengan ciri khas kata kerja yang digunakan berawalan me-sedangkan kalimat pasif merupakan suatu kalimat yang subject-nya tidak melakukan suatu perbuatan,melainkan dikenai suatu perbuatan,dengan ciri khas kata kerja yang digunakan berawalan di-.Contoh:….eats………………..=……makan….. ,,,,,is eaten……… =…….dimakan……

GEMANA YA….CARANYA NGUBAH AKTIVE KE PASSIVE???? When rewriting active sentence in passive voice,note the following:The object of the active sentence becomes the subject of the passive sentence.The finite form of the verb is changed (to be+past participle)The subject of the active sentence becomes by agent in the passive sentence(or is dropped)Only active sentence containing object which can be changed into passive formThe two form should have the same tenses

What is the meaning with agent????In a passive clause,we usually use a phrase beginning with by if we want to mention the agent-the person or thing that does the action,or that causes what happens

When rewriting active sentence in passive voice,you must study steps the following: Letakkan Complement/object dari kalimat aktif tersebut pada awal kalimat,yang disini complement/object tersebut menjadi subject Jika pada kalimat aktif tersebut terdapat kata kerja bantu/auxiliary,maka letakkan kata tersebut setelah subject yang berasal daricomplement/objek kalimat aktif)dari kalimat tersebut Kemudian tambahan be setelah kata kerja bantu/auxiliary tersebut sesuai dengan subject kalaimat pasif tersebut. Kemudian letakkan kata kerja yang berasal dari kalimat aktif tersebut setelah be itu,dalam bentuk past participle(Verb-3) Letakkan subjek yang berasal dari kalimat aktiftersebut,setelah kata kerja past participle ,yang biasanya didahului dengan kata by.

Contoh: Aktive : She writes a letter Pasive : A letter is written by her Aktive : He gives me a present Pasive : I am given a present by him Aktive : She wrote a letter Pasive : A letter was written by her

Perlu Diperhatikan bahwa kata kerja yang digunakan pada kalimat pasif dalam bahasa inggris,ialah dengan menggunakan rumus:

be itu sendiri ,dibuat sesuai tense yang digunakan dalam kalimat itu dan disesuaikan dengan subjek kalimat pasif tersebut.Contoh:1.Jika tense yang digunakan dalam kalimat itu adalah Present tense,maka (to)be tersebut adalah:am,is,atau,are sesuai dengan subjek kalimat pasif tersebut. Aktive : I eats the cake Passive:The cake is eaten by me Aktive :She reads a novel Passive:A novel is read by her2.Jika tense yang digunakan dalam kalimat itu adalah past tense,maka (to) be yang digunakan was atau were sesuai denagn subject kalimat pasif tersebut. Aktive:Romi helped Nina yesterday Pasive:Nina was helped by Romi yesterday

Present Continuous Tense

Past Continuous Tense

Active: S+am/is/are+V-ing+OPasive: S+am/is/are+being+V3+By Agent

Contoh: My father was painting the wall The wall was being painted by my father She was doing the homework The homework was being done by her

Present Perfect Tense

Contoh: Nina has written a letter A letter has been written by Nina The company has ordered some equipments Some equipments have been ordered by the company

Past Perfect Tense

Contoh:My sister had finished the work before I came The work had been finished by my sister

Active: S+has/have+V3+OPasive: S+has/have+been+V3+By Agent

Present Perfect Continuous Tense

Contoh: She has been writing the letters The letters has been being written by her

Past Perfect Continuous Tense

Contoh:She had been doing the work for two hours when I came The work had been being done by her for two hours when I came

Tense dengan modals:will,shall,can,must,may,etc

Contoh:She will read a comic A comic will be read by her I will give my uncle a present My uncle will be given a present by me

Active: S+Modals present+V1+OPasive: S+Modals present+be+V3+By O

Tense dengan modals:would,should,could,might,had to, etc.

Contoh: They had to tell the matter to her The matter had to be told to her by them

Tense Modals+Present Perfect tense,baik modals itu sendiri dalam bentuk present ataupun past tense

Contoh: He will have sent the letters by tomorrow The letters will have been sent by him tomorrow They should have finished their work before the teacher came Their work should have been finished by them before the teacher came

Tense dengan Modals +Present Perfect Continuous Tense
