Past continuous tense ( 过去进行时 )

过去某个时间点或某个时间段正在进行的动作。 常与 at 7 yesterday ， at this time yesterday, at that time, at 9 this morning, at 5 the day before yesterday, from 7 to 9 yesterday from 10 to 11 last night… 时间状语连用。

过去进行时的句式 （1）基本结构:S +was/were + verb-ing (doing)

（ 2） I/he/she/it was + verb-ing you/we/they were + verb-ing

（ 3）否定式： was/were not + verb-ing (doing)

was not = wasn’t

were not = weren’t

（ 4）疑问句：将 was/were 调到主语前
