o 10 x 30 g Wollmeisen Birdies (gezeigt mit Kombination Glückskind) o Rundstricknadel Nr. 3,5 mm o Wollnadel und Schere

Zeichenerklärung:

o 1 Mre = 1 rechte Masche o 1 Mli = 1 linke Masche o 1 Rdm = Randmasche o 1 U = 1 Umschlag o HR = Hinreihe o RR = Rückreihe

Muster und Maschenproben:

o Glatt rechts (10 x 10 cm = 26 M x 34 R) mit Rippen-Rand Hinreihe: alle Maschen rechts stricken Rückreihe: 4 Maschen rechts, alle Maschen links stricken, letzten 4 Maschen rechts

o Strukturmuster Noppen 1 Noppe = aus einer Masche 3 Maschen herausstricken (1 re, 1 U, 1 re) die Arbeit wenden, 3 Maschen links stricken, Arbeit wenden, 3 Maschen rechts stricken, einzeln je eine der 2 hinteren Maschen über die erste Masche heben

Schritt No. 2 Beginn Noppenstruktur

In der 9. Reihe mit dem Noppenmuster (siehe Strukturmuster auf S. 2) beginnen.

HR 9: 1 Rdm, 4 M re, *4 M re, 1 Noppe* (von * bis * immer wiederholen), 9 M re, 1 Rdm R 10-18: R 5 und 6 wiederholen HR 19: 1 Rdm, 9 M re, *4 M re, 1 Noppe*, 14 M re, 1 Rdm R 20-28: R 5 und 6 wiederholen Von Reihe 9-28 wiederholen. Achtung! In R 25 beginnt der erste Farbwechsel (siehe Schritt No. 3)

Schritt No. 3 Farbwechsel

In Reihe 25 wird der erste Farbwechsel vorgenommen, hierzu über zwei Reihen (1 x Hin- und 1 x Rückreihe) mit der ersten Farbe weiterstricken und jede 4. Masche mit der neuen Farbe stricken. Danach weitere zwei Reihen jede 2. Masche mit der neuen Farbe stricken. In den darauffolgenden Reihen mit der neuen Farbe stricken.

Das Strukturmuster wird trotz Farbwechsel beibehalten.

Tipp: aktuelles Garn hin und wieder wiegen, ca. 4-6 g reichen für einen Farbwechsel (4 Reihen)

Schritt No. 4 Noppenabnahme

Für den Verlauf der Noppen in der 49. Reihe über 89 Maschen das Strukturmuster (inkl. Noppen) stricken, nach 89 Maschen (9 Noppen) über 40 Maschen nur glatt Rechts stricken, danach 1 Noppe stricken und im Strukturmuster fortfahren.

Alle Maschen neue Farbe 2 Reihen jede 2. Masche 2 Reihen jede 4. Masche

Zukünftig in allen Strukturmuster-Reihen 1 Noppe auf beiden Seiten weniger stricken.

Schritt No. 5 Halbzeit

Nach ca. 130 Reihen ist die Hälfte geschafft, auf jeder Seite sollten sich 5 Noppen befinden und 5 Farben verstrickt sein.

Mit der 6. Farbe fortfahren und immer wieder eine Noppe zusätzlich stricken.

Bei 9 Noppen je Seite in der nächsten Noppenreihe die 4 zusätzlichen Noppen stricken und die Aussparung schließen.

Schritt No. 6 Ende

Die letzten 4 Reihen kraus rechts stricken, Maschen locker abketten und Fäden vernähen.

Material:

o 10 x 30 g skeins of Wollmeisen Birdies (shown in the combination Glückskind) o US 4 circular needles o Wool needle and scissors

Abbrevations:

k = knit p = purl sts = stitches RS = right side WS = wrong side RH = right hand LH = left hand

Pattern and Gauge:

o Stockinette stitch (10 x 10 cm = 26 stitches x 34 rows) with ripped edges RS: knit WS: k 4, purl, knit last 4 sts

o Bobble pattern: Make a bobble = Knit into the front of the stitch, then the back, then the front, and slide the 3 stitches off — 3 sts in 1. Turn your work so that the WS is facing you (the stitches are on the LH needle). Purl the 3 sts. Turn the work around again and knit the 3 sts again. With the tip of the LH needle, pull the second stitch over the first and off the RH needle. Repeat with the third sts.

Please follow the order of color to get the perfect gradient of color!

Step No. 1 Cast On

Cast on 214 stitches in the first color. Knit the first 4 rows in garter stitch. Start with a RS row. Row 5-8 is stockinette stitch with ripped edges (page 2).

Keep counting rows so that you know where you are.

Step No. 2 Begin of the Bobble Pattern

Start in row 9 with the bobble pattern following the next steps.

RS 9: 1 edge stitch, k 4, *k 4, make a bobble* (repeat between **), k 9, edge stitch R 10-18: repeat row 5 and 6 RS 19: edge stitch, k 9, *k 4, make a bobble*, k 14, edge stitch R 20-28: repeat row 5 and 6 Attention! Start the color change in row 25 you can find it in Step No. 3

Repeat it from row 9 to 28.

Step No. 3 Change the Color

Start with the color change in row 25. Knit row 25 and 26 with the old color and use the new color every fourth stitch. Knit row 27 and 28 and use the new color every second stitch.

From now on, only knit with the new color.

Don’t forget to make the bobble every 10th row.

Tip: 4-6 gram of the ‚old‘ color are enough to make the complete color change.

Step No. 4 Gradient of the Bobbles

Start with the Gradient of the Bobble in the 49th row.

Knit the bobble pattern over 89 stitches, k 40, make a bobble and continue with the bobble pattern to the end of the row.

Every stitch in the new color Over two rows use the new color every second stitch Over two rows use the new color every fourth stitch

In the further bobble-pattern rows reduce one bobble on both sides.

Step No. 5 Half Time

After about 130 rows, you made half of the blanket. You should have used 5 colors and there should be 5 bobbles on both sides. Continue knitting with the 6th color and keep increasing one bobble more on both sides. Repeat every 10th row.

If you have 9 bobbles on each side, close the gap and make a bobble every 5th stitch, like the original bobble pattern in step No.2

Step No. 6 Finish

Knit the last 4 rows with garter stitch. Bind off loosely.
