An indispensable reference for students enrolled in any nursing program,
the third Canadian edition of Kozier et al’s Fundamentals of Canadian Nursing will publish in February 2013! Building on the success of prior
versions, the new edition provides students with a fundamental

nursing practice in Canada. Thoroughly updated to include the most
recent research and best-practice and clinical guidelines, the third
Canadian edition features a brand new chapter on Global Health, and

their knowledge, experience, and critical thinking skills to generate
diagnoses or analysis.
• New Evidence-Informed Practice Boxes for all 49 chapters, drawing

in the global economy affect Canadians, and prepares nurses to work
in the changing field of global health.
• Updated chapters on “Nursing Informatics”, “Infection Prevention and Control”, and “Skin Integrity and Wound Care”.
• Greater emphasis in a variety of areas, including critical thinking,
clinical reasoning, cultural safety, immigrant and aboriginal health
issues, and emergency preparedness.

guidelines throughout the book.
