Initial evaluation
Appropriate tests to identify the cause of the
dysfunction, discomfort or functional limitation
Individualized exercise or home program.
Training in functional activities and mobility.
Condition and discipline-specific modalities during
treatments.
Education related to specific diagnosis, safety and
fall risk, therapy rationale and treatment plan.
Equipment needs assessment.
Pain management education
Fall risk assessment and recommendations for
home modifications, as needed.
Activities of daily living: assistive devices,
prosthetics and/or orthotics.
Recommendations: assistive technologies,
adaptive equipment, ambulation aids, seating and wheelchairs.
