PERANCANGAN BALOK LENTUR MURNI

1. Pendahuluan Sebuah balok merupakan kombinasi dari elemen tarik dan tekan. Profil WF terbukti sebagai profil yang paling ekonomis dan profil ini telah menggantikan penggunaan profil kanal dan S. Profil W mempunyai lebih banyak material yang terkonsentrasi pada pelat sayap dibandingkan dengan profil S, sehingga mempunyai momen inersia dan tahanan momen yang lebih besar untuk berat yang sama. Profil W relatif lebih lebar dan mempunyai kekakuan yang cukup tinggi.

Dengan bantuan komputer, perancangan dapat dipersingkat sehingga perancang dapat mempertimbangkan rancangan alternatif lainnya. Cara lain untuk mempersingkat perancangan adalah dengan membuat tabel dan kurva sebagai alat bantu dalam perancangan balok. Tabel dan kurva tersebut dibuat dengan menggunakan material baja berdasarkan SNI 03-1729-2002-LRFD sehingga dapat dengan cepat ditentukan profil yang optimum. Validasi terhadap tabel dan kurva yang dibuat dilakukan dengan mensimulasi perancangan balok yang dibandingkan dengan AISC-LRFD.

Profil yang akan digunakan merupakan profil WF yang berasal dari PT. Gunung Garuda. Tabel dan kurva ini dibuat dengan menitikberatkan pada perencanaan balok berdasarkan momen lentur murni. Koefisien pengali momen Cb yang digunakan dalam kurva sama dengan 1,0.

2. Kajian Pustaka 2.1 Kuat Nominal Lentur Penampang Dengan Pengaruh Tekuk Lokal Kuat nominal lentur penampang dengan pengaruh tekuk lokal tergantung dari kelangsingan penampang. Pengertian penampang kompak, tak-kompak, dan langsing suatu komponen struktur yang memikul lentur, ditentukan oleh kelangsingan elemen-elemen tekannya. Untuk dapat dikelompokkan sebagai penampang kompak, penampang WF atau I harus mempunyai rasio lebar-tebal b/t tidak lebih dari yp f/170=λ . Juga pelat badan yang menerima tekan akibat lentur

rasio h/tw tidak boleh lebih dari yp f/1680=λ . Pada penampang tak-kompak, rasio lebar-tebal pelat

sayap tidak boleh lebih dari λr = 370 / ry ff − , sedangkan untuk pelat badan tidak boleh lebih dari λr =

2550 / yf . fy adalah tegangan leleh dan fr adalah tegangan tekan residual yang diasumsikan sama dengan

70 MPa untuk profil hasil rol (cetakan) dan 115 MPa untuk profil hasil pengelasan. a. Penampang Kompak

2.2 Kuat Nominal Lentur Penampang Dengan Pengaruh Tekuk Lateral Kuat komponen struktur dalam memikul momen lentur tergantung dari panjang bentang antara dua pengekang lateral yang berdekatan, Lb. Berdasarkan panjang bentang kuat komponen struktur dibagi menjadi tiga, yaitu bentang pendek, bentang menengah, dan bentang panjang. Batas-batas bentang pengekang lateral ditentukan pada Tabel 1.

Momen desain balok untuk Lb = 23 ft adalah nilai terkecil dari momen desain pelat sayap, pelat badan, dan jarak sokongan lateral, maka : φMn = 21,69 ton-m 5. Prosedur Perancangan Balok Langkah-langkah yang ditempuh untuk merancang dimensi balok dengan bantuan tabel adalah: 1. Hitung semua kombinasi pembebanan akibat beban yang bekerja pada balok yang ditinjau, termasuk

perkiraan berat sendiri balok, sesuai dengan kombinasi pembebanan yang telah ditentukan dalam SNI 03-1729-2002.

2. Tentukan berat total maksimum dari semua kombinasi beban yang bekerja pada balok yang ditinjau. 3. Tentukan profil yang paling ekonomis pada tabel. Cari berat maksimum balok yang sama dengan atau

lebih besar dari berat total beban yang bekerja, dengan memperhatikan panjang bentang balok yang ditinjau.

4. Jika berat profil yang didapat lebih besar dari berat profil asumsi ulangi mulai dari langkah 1, dengan memasukkan berat profil aktual

Langkah-langkah untuk merencanakan dimensi balok dengan bantuan kurva adalah : 1. Hitung semua kombinasi pembebanan akibat beban yang bekerja pada balok yang ditinjau, termasuk

perkiraan berat sendiri balok, sesuai dengan kombinasi pembebanan yang telah ditentukan dalam SNI 03-1729-2002.

2. Tentukan kombinasi pembebanan maksimum dari semua kombinasi pembebanan tersebut. Hitung momen ultimate yang bekerja.

3. Plot pada kurva antara momen ultimate yang bekerja dengan panjang tanpa sokongan. Tentukan profil yang optimum dengan menentukan kurva terdekat yang berada diatas dan atau di kanan titik koordinat yang didapat.

4. Jika berat profil yang didapat lebih besar dari berat profil asumsi ulangi mulai dari langkah 1, dengan memasukkan berat profil aktual.

6. Perancangan Balok Dengan SNI 03-1729-2002-LRFD a. Menentukan profil W dengan tabel (balok dengan sokongan lateral)

Diketahui: Beban mati (DL) = 2,5 ton/m Beban hidup (LL) = 0,5 ton/m Panjang bentang (L) = 7 m fy = 250 MPa
