1 Perfect Fit Dado Jig Instructions The Perfect Fit Dado Jig is designed to be used with any length All-in-One Clamp Guide and a 1/2" straight router bit. With two passes of the router, you can make perfect fitting dadoes from 1/2" up to 1" wide. We recommend that you test your setup on scrap lumber. Because of variations in router bases, we recommend mounting Porter-Cable routers with their handles parallel to the cut direction and Bosch routers with their handles perpendicular to the cut direction. For other routers, you might need to test the mounting orientation to ensure that the bit is centered. 1. Clamp your All-in-One Clamp Guide exactly 3 1 /2" to the left of your dado position. Fig. 1. 2. Set the depth of cut for your dado. 3. For a 23/32" dado (the typical actual dimension for 3/4" plywood) using a 1/2" router bit, move the jig’s adjustment side out 7/32" and lock the knobs. In this example the first pass will cut a full 1/2" (16/32"). The second pass will cut the remaining 7/32" to complete the 23/32" dado. 4. Using the fixed side of the jig, make your first pass, pushing the jig away from you. 5. Turn your jig around and, using the adjustable side of the jig, make your final pass. Fig. 2 and 3. The Perfect Fit Dado Jig allows you to make tight-fitting joints, regardless of material thickness. Note: If you are using a bit other than a 1/2" you will need to adjust the distance of the dado edge from the clamp guide accordingly. Perfect Fit Dado Jig Instructions

The Perfect Fit Dado Jig is designed to be used with any length All-in-One Clamp Guide and a 1/2" straight router bit.

1. Clamp your All-in-One Clamp Guide exactly 31⁄2" to the left of your dado position. Fig. 1.
