Achievement of an excellent mastery of written and spoken German and French, as well as of the different interpreting techniques (simultaneous, consecutive, whispered, and liaison interpreting; sight translation); basics of law, economy, national and international politics; intercultural, interpreting, and translation studies. 17/11/2010: Interpreting Final Examination on the occasion of a public conference on “The social role of media”. All the tests (simultaneous interpreting IT > DE, DE > IT, FR > IT, consecutive interpreting FR > IT) were passed with full marks (“Ottimo”). 21–23/06/2010: Visit, organized by the SSLiMIT Forlì, to the European Parliament and the SCIC – Directorate General for Interpretation of the European Commission in Brussels. Meetings for the presentation of the European Parliament, the DG Interpretation, and the European Court of Justice; training in simultaneous interpreting from German and French (dummy booth) during several official reunions and meetings on different topics, among which: protection of human rights, natural disasters, pollution, disposal of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), entrepreneurship and business innovation programmes, cosmetic products. 09–10/10/2009: Participation in the international meeting “Translation technologies: refresher and training courses” and the workshops “From corpora to terminology” and “Translation memory tools”, organised by the Advanced School of Modern Languages for Interpreters and Translators (SSLMIT) of the University of Bologna together with AITI and FederCenTrI. AY 2007/2008: Bachelor’s Degree in Translation and Liaison Interpreting with full marks and honours (110/110 cum laude), awarded on 09/07/2008 by the Advanced School of Modern Languages for Interpreters and Translators (SSLiMIT) of the University of Bologna – Forlì.
