Dear Friends, We are thrilled to announce that we’ve received the Super Service Award from Angie’s List — for the third year in a row. It’s a big honor: no more than 5% of companies are given this award, which recog- nizes businesses that have achieved and maintained a superior service rating over the past year. We come to work every day with one goal in mind: to serve our customers at the highest possible level. We dedicate time and energy into training, with our own “Carolina University,” where we keep our technicians up to date on the newest technology and equipment. We invest in infrastructure, such as our new expanded headquarters, which allows us to store more supplies and parts on-site for quicker repairs. Dear Friends,

We are thrilled to announce that we’ve received the Super Service Award from Angie’s List — for the third year in a row. It’s a big honor: no more than 5% of companies are given this award, which recog-nizes businesses that have achieved and maintained a superior service rating over the past year.

And we value customer service, making sure everyone on the Carolina

team, from the person who answers the phone to the tech who gets your heating or cooling system up and running, puts the customer first.

This award means we are reaching that goal and

we intend to earn the Super Service Award every year!

Of course, what makes it really special is that it’s you — our

customers — who made it possible with your positive reviews and high grades. Thank you!

Warmly,

Scott Kelly

P.S. Congratulations to Scott and Teresa Cleveland, winners of the Samsung Galaxy smartphone from our spring newsletter contest.

how to make $50

When you purchase your generator, mention this article in our newsletter and we’ll give you Mobile Link.* Winter storms can knock out power for days, but

a little preparation goes a long way to ensuring your comfort and safety. A couple of days’ supply of bottled water and nonperishable, ready-to-eat food, a manual can opener, a battery-operated radio, flashlights and extra batteries are essential.

But even short outages can cost hundreds of dollars in food spoilage, not to mention loss of heat. (Thermostats require electricity to run.) This only underscores the importance of having a standby generator. Carolina offers both air-cooled and liquid-cooled backup generators that will turn on automatically and run your lights, refrigerator and heating system until the utility trucks can make repairs. Purchase a new generator this fall and we’ll include Mobile Link*. This cellular-based

technology allows you to check the status of your generator from anywhere, and alerts you when it is activated, letting you know of a power outage even if you’re away from home.

are you storm-ready?

we’re always hereBreakdowns don’t keep business hours — they happen 24 hours a day. So we always have a dispatcher and technicians on call to handle emergencies, whenever they occur.

When your heating or cooling system or generator breaks down, we’ll be there on the double. But the team at Carolina is trained to troubleshoot a lot of problems over the phone — and maybe save you a costly repair visit.

There are a few things you can do to help. Let us know the make and model of the equipment — check for a decal on the outside of the unit. Also, tell us what the problem seems to be (the blower is not working, it’s not sending heat or cold air, etc.) and describe any smells or noises. You should also check to see if your system “tripped”

a circuit breaker. Whatever the problem, rest assured that we’ll help to restore your comfort as quickly as possible.

Do you have a friend, neighbor or relative looking for a new heating or cooling system? Refer them to us, and when we install their new equipment, we’ll send you a $50 referral reward that you can apply to your account. To make a referral, simply call or return the enclosed reply card.
