PSS 2.0 FunctionalityEmergency response functionProvide functionality to manage the evacuation and mustering process, displays an overview of the counts at each muster station and an overview of available capacity for refuges and escape vessels.
Mobile mustering To streamline information along safety locations this supports automotive and manual counts at muster points, with a real-time count view for a pre-configured or specific muster point.
Control room monitor screenWith the Overview tool you can account for all workers in real-time on the facility map, at the muster points or in any other defined zones.
Specific warden / marshal functionThe PSS mobile client has specific functions for a warden/marshal (responsible for counting people) at an escape vessel or temporary refuge.
Intelligent location filters Zebra PSS contains software algorithms to ensure the highest reliability of a zone transition and location detection to minimize the chance of errors or wrong zone counts.
Multi-technology supportAllows the use of a wide range of available technologies (passive RFID, active RFID, Wi-Fi location, 24730, Ultra Wideband) to best meet the site needs.
Interfaces with 3rd party systems for safetyIncludes Enhanced Industrial Safety API for integration with Person on Board and Access Control, and new interface for fast communication with mobile handheld clients - including third-party.
Asset management support Besides safety applications, the system supports asset visibility and management including a direct connection to IBM Maximo for location enabling existing asset management implementations.
