COMMUNITY CONTEXTThe Splendor home is located in an ur-ban middle low income neighborhood,
in the north side of lima.

AIMS OF THE PROJECTSplendor Home is a place that host Elder people (de-pendent and/or independent). The beneficiaries will be provided with a safe environment that aims to allow them to enjoy activities and spaces with people with the same age and situation. Most of the beneficiaries were abandoned by their families due to lack of resour-
ces or because they are ill.
PROJECT ACTIVITIESProvide meals per day, recreational activities, accom-paniment in the house and outside the house, health
assistance, etc.
VOLUNTEER’S REQUIREMENTSWith some health information and knowledge.
VOLUNTEER’S TASKSThe volunteer will help doing different tasks, most of the time the volunteer will assist the staff (this means that they will help the health, administrative and home sta-ff). Their activities will differ according to the planned activities. From Helping to prepare the food (breakfast, lunch and dinner) to accompany the elders to do their activities, as well, they will have to prepare workshops
(morning and evening) for the beneficiaries.

AIMS OF THE PROJECTFray Masias is a project that offers services for handi-capped children and adults; in this place the students will have access to an specialized education. It offers academic, cultural, artistic and medical services and
workshops.
PROJECT ACTIVITIESProvide safe a secure environment for haddicapped people, in which, they can learn academics, artistical,
cultural subjects.
VOLUNTEER’S REQUIREMENTSSpanish knowledge. Some experience working with handicapped people or children. If possible some
knowledge in dacing and music.
VOLUNTEER’S TASKSThe volunteer will help doing different tasks, however, the main dutty will be to support the teacher during the class, including taking care of the students, assist during the academic and cultural lessons and carry
out some workshops.

AIMS OF THE PROJECT- Host children in scholar age that have been abando-ned, providing a safe place in which they can growth up away from gangs, provide a good environment so
they can feel love and calm.- Grant spaces to family reunification, provide works-hops about the importance of family so they can im-prove their relation. Emphasize in the importance of
Christianity.- Show solidarity to children and families so they can have support during hard moments and succeed them.
PROJECT ACTIVITIESThe project has some activities such as: hosting home for children, show them to pray and find guidance on cristianity, academic advising, provide academic ma-terial and spaces to study, provide quality food, health services and meds, psicologic assistance and works-hops, offer recreational spaces, create cultural spaces and encourage dialogue and traning seminars for pa-
rents.
VOLUNTEER’S REQUIREMENTSThe volunteer should have some experience working with children and Spanish knowledge (intermediate).
Has to be older than 18 years old.
VOLUNTEER’S TASKSThe volunter will have to be an academic assistan )doing workshhops, and assisting the children with the homeworks), as well it will have to manage the com-munication medias and be part of the daily activities
such as play with the children, prepare food, clean.

AIMS OF THE PROJECT“La casita de la Paz” provids a safe environement for ru-ral children and young people that are coming to Lima to have Cancer treatment, treatment for burns, brain
paralyzis or down syndrom therapies.
PROJECT ACTIVITIES“La casita de la Paz” offers a place to rest before and after the medical intervention, as well, the children and young people have access to food or workshops. The parents of these children are allowed to stay there with them but most of the people are coming for rural areas or indiginous communities so the house provides as-sistance to them as well, in order to help them to settle
down in the city.
VOLUNTEER’S REQUIREMENTSThe volunteer will have to be willing to help, they have to be proactive and organized, with some spanish, ar-
tistical skills.
VOLUNTEER’S TASKSThe Volunteer will have to help in different activities, since help the administrative team to classified the food, control the inventory and do some administrati-ve papers to supervise the activities in the house (To control the activities in the house for the parents and children). As well, they will have to carry out works-hops with the children, help to prepare food and help to feed them, Fuinally, the volunteers will have to help with the promotion of the house on social media (pho-
tography or design material)
