Peter and the Wolf Name:

Peter and the Wolf is a piece of music written in 1936 by Sergei Prokofiev. It is a children’s story that features a narrator (who tells the story) accompanied by an orchestra (that plays the music). The words and music work together to create a complete story.

Sometimes, the music is just there to add to the story. Other times, the music is used to represent the different characters. Each character has its own instrument and melody.
