Jing SaraoOur activities centered on responding to the calamity wrought InvocationDir GJ DYabout by typhoon Ondoy last Saturday September 26. As aconsequence, the District Membership Retention Seminar was National Anthemcancelled. PP Erwyn Alcomendras In response to the typhoon victims, our club will be donatingrelief goods in Taytay, Rizal with around 110 beneficiaries Introduction of Visitingaffected by the typhoon. In coordination with our sister club RC Rotarians and Guests Rtn. Tessie Santos Metro East Taytay, we will deliver 110 packages consisting ofwater, bread, rice and canned goods. In addition, we have Presidents Time received 100 more relief goods from the District to be Pres. Jing Sarao distributed to other beneficiaries in other affected areas. May Iinvite our club members to join us tomorrow, October 2 at 7:30 Awarding of MAPSA Dir. Odette Ongam as we all converge at the residence of PP MaridelVillavicencio. We will then all travel together to Taytay, Rizal Adjournmentand meet up with our sister club RC Metro East and distributePres. Jing Saraothe goods. To cover the expenses, we shall all donate P1,000each, the excess of which will be donated to RC Metro East. With the exception of last year, our 24 Prim de Guzmanclub has consistently given recognition to deserving publicservants from Makati since the term of PP Celia Cuasay in 1993with PDG Leo de Guzman.INVOCATION Dear Father, we thank you for the power of your Holy Spirit that saved thousands of lives in spite of the onslaught of destructive typhoons. We lift up to you all those who perished, may they find eternal repose in heaven. Heal those who are injured physically, emotionally, financially as a consequence of Mother Natures wrath. We ask for your loving protection as we face the challenge of Climate Change around Asia Pacific region especially our beloved country. Amen.

Business aspects were discussed for attendeesto establish their business careers along hairgrooming. RCMSL was one of the lead clubs. Theprogram started on Sep 14 and will last till Sep19.BULLETIN BOARD We will once again have an exciting month ahead. October as you all know is a month celebrated following German tradition. Octoberfest on the 16th of this month, will be orchestrated by District Governor Sid Garcia to be held at the McKinley Hills in Taguig. And of course let us all enjoy our bottles of beer.On October 20, a Tuesday, there will be an Enchanted Evening, a night of music, songs and dances at the Polo Club orchestrated by Rotary Club of Makati, our District Governors club.On October 28, the District will launch On to Montreal to be held at the Makati Sports Club. Those interested to travel to Canada, this will be an opportune time.Our October birthday celebrants are: PP Erwyn Alcomendras and Prim de Guzman. We will have a fellowship night during the month in celebration of their birthdays. 3. We participated in the interaction withsettlers from PasigRiver, viewedhandicrafts done by out of school youths, vermi-culture project and viewed all otherstructures. Pres. Jing Sarao was asked togive an inspiration talkto the settlers. The club donated P50thousand to the PasigRiver project. 5. Marie OConnor. The team worked in earnest on September 29, Tuesday at the residence of PP Maridel Villavicencio together with PP Erwyn Alcomendras, Dir. Marie OConnor and Dir. Shelley Lazaro.
