The AnswerPhilosophical point of view: There is one main thing that the Jewish, Christian and Islamic religion all have in common. This thing is that each religion tells you that there is a life after death. This is very important because many humans beings are petrified of death and death is the one thing that gives value to our lives. Therefore having an answer for death can comfort us tremendously. Therefore humans would be born into a religion and would conform to the laws so that they may have a good after life. People who are atheist do not conform to these laws thus in their minds they are totally free. Another reason why humans join religion is to feel acceptance. When you walk into a church a synagogue or a mosque it comforts people that they have the same beliefs as others and that they are in a group.

Religious: It plays a big role because God is our creator thus we must serve him. There is only one true God and we must fight for him.

Scientific: Religion plays a big part in most lives because humans are scared of death, religion was invented for the weak so they could stand the thought of dying. Religion is for the weak and is the cause of many wars.
