Rules of Third: Divide your image into 9 equal sections by 2 vertical and 2 horizontal lines. The rules of third says that you should position the most important elements in your scene along these lines, or at the points where they intersect. This will add balance and interest to your photo

Depth of FieldThe distance between the nearest and farthest object in a scene that are in focus. You create depth in a photo by showing objects in the foreground, middle ground & background.

Emphasize your scene's depth by including interesting subjects at varying distances from the camera.
