Die Aartappel Fees is in Redelinghuys gehou in September het ook „n groot aantal besoekers gehad. Die Zebra Fees was „n groot sukses met menigte besoekers met vreemde registrasies, aktiwiteite soos potjiekos kompetisie, pikkie braai, koek versier en kunstenaars wat die geleentheid vol opwinding gehou het. Dear/Beste PTB Lid/ Member Hoop dat September „n maand vol opwinding en avonture was! Na die afskop van die Rugby Wêreld Beker, en ons almal al „n keer of wat op die punte van ons stoele gesit het, is ons nogtans trots op die Bokke. By die kantoor het ons letterlik uit ons nate gebars met die toeloop van besoekers wat deur die area beweeg het opsoek na blomme prag. Nou ja, na die afloop van die blomme seisoen is ons dankbaar ook vir „n fees of twee wat die dorp vol gehou het. Die Aartappel Fees is in Redelinghuys gehou in September het ook „n groot aantal besoekers gehad. Nasionale Instituut vir Dowes (NID) Soos reeds genoem in September maand se nuusbrief doen PTB in samewerking met NID „n werkswinkel by De Berge Gastehuis t.o.v ondersteunende gebare taal vir gehoorgestremdes. Die 3 ure werkswinkel op Woensdag 12 Oktober 14h00 is gratis vir
enige iemand wat dit wil bywoon. Daar is nog plekke beskikbaar om die werkswinkel wil bywoon. Laat my asb. so gou as moontlik weet indien u nog belangstel. Aan die regterkant is die program van die NID Werkswinkel. Bring asb. soveel mense soos moontlik, en kom ons help om Piketberg meer Gehoorgestremd vriendelik te maak.

Golf Fundraiser One of the key drivers for Piketberg Tourism is to re-open the Mountain Hike from Piketberg to Wittewater/Goedverwacht during 2012, there are some existing funds available towards re-establishing this much needed tourism attraction which will benefit
and therefore raise the profile of the town of Piketberg in the years ahead. To this end a small fundraiser fun afternoon will be held on or around the afternoon of Friday 25th of November 2011 at the PPC De Hoek golf. A small prize giving/raffle/fundraiser will be held after the golf activity at Feathers Inn at the top end of Church Street, with all proceeds raised on the day going towards Piketberg Tourism‟s fund to re-establish the hike next year.
If your company is interested in either entering a fourball or donating a team prize or even refreshments during the golf activities it would be highly appreciated. All donations/participations will be mentioned on the day as part of us all working together to help put Piketberg firmly on the Tourism map.
