Friday 14th February 2020 Term 3 Website: www.pilgrims-way.kent.sch.uk PilgrimsWay News Dear Parents and Carers As we end another busy term, I have been reflecting on some of the amazing opportunities the children have had this term. From taking part (and winning) football matches, getting to know a range of Beasts n Bugsin their Friday club with children learning about Guinea Pigs and tarantulas (some very brave children attend the club!!), learning to fence or play dodgeball, welcoming lots of visitors and new families into our school and so much more. My particular thanks to Oliver and Sohanna for showing visitors around the school, explaining our values, curriculum and being excellent role models. I also would like to thank Connor for supporting Anna and Coco (our Therapy dog) when they visit us to help with childrens reading. I am delighted to welcome our new Teaching Assistant, Mr Brunton, into our KS1 Team. We are also saying au revoirto Miss Walsh who will be leaving us to start her maternity leave. We all wish her well and are excited to meet her new baby very soon. I wish you all a happy, safe and fun filled break and will see you back in school on Monday 24 February. Pilgrims’ Way News

Dear Parents and Carers

As we end another busy term, I have been reflecting on some of the amazing opportunities the children have had this term. From taking part (and winning) football matches, getting to know a range of ‘Beasts n Bugs’ in their Friday club with children learning about Guinea Pigs and tarantulas (some very brave children attend the club!!), learning to fence or play dodgeball, welcoming lots of visitors and new families into our school and so much more.

My particular thanks to Oliver and Sohanna for showing visitors around the school, explaining our values, curriculum and being excellent role models. I also would like to thank Connor for supporting Anna and Coco (our Therapy dog) when they visit us to help with children’s reading.

I am delighted to welcome our new Teaching Assistant, Mr Brunton, into our KS1 Team.

We are also saying ‘au revoir’ to Miss Walsh who will be leaving us to start her maternity leave. We all wish her well and are excited to meet her new baby very soon.

I wish you all a happy, safe and fun filled break and will see you back in school on Monday 24 February.

Warm regards
