Activity

T. Presents a PPT with several flashcards with images related to different activities and vocabulary to determine Ss’ previous knowledge. (watch tv, play sports, spend time with friends, etc.)All Ss. answer and collaborate in the production of a vocabulary list on the whiteboard.

T. shows the correct answers and provides the pronunciation of each activity and asks Ss. to repeat them.

T. presents frequency adverbs (“Always, sometimes, never”), and asks Ss. for information about the use they have. T explains Ss. how to use them with examples that contain the vocabulary related to the unit (freetime activities)For example: “I always spend time with my family.”

T asks Ss. to work in pairs: They have to write 1 sentence with each f. adverb and interchange them. T. asks some Ss. to read the examples aloud.

T. provides Ss. a schedule where they have to write their own weekly routine. There, they have to put a sentence which contains one frequency adverb and

Ss. participate actively in responding to the teacher the different names of the activities they are seeing in the PPT.

Ss. try to determine the rules for the use of each frequency adverb.

Ss. pay attention and take notes of the PPT presentation on their copybooks about the use of f. Adverbs.

Ss. gather in pairs and work creating the sentences.

T. asks Ss. what they have learnt in the class and waits for them to name most of the vocabulary and also the frequency adverbs seen in class.

Ss. answer in order what they have learnt in the class.

Ss. say goodbye to the teacher.
